I hate to drop in on that but it’s pretty fucked up that he announces Friend Of The People after he dropped Enemy Of The State then a week before release he cancels it and says “sorry folks”. And people wonder why the industry is melting the fuck down. People announce shit and can’t drop it then by the time it DOES drop, not too many people are interested cause they were let down after anticipating.

Yea Lupe HAS been workin on the mix from his twitter posts…its probably halfway done but he just couldn’t get it done within the time frame he anticipated…shit happens…Lupe does have a life and priorities outside of music and this climb is for a good cause…we should be glad he’s even doin mixtapes since he did indeed retire from the mixtape game…atleast he kept his word on EOTS release date…and that 22 minutes was better than the majority of hip hop music released this year
