The Dre verses sound nice and all, but they are heavily edited. Just listen closely and you can tell. It’s not his style, but it kinda works.

I actually rather liked relapse, it was solid except for a few tracks. But Refill is full of second-rate songs. I feel like the beats just aren’t going with his style anymore(although this track is legit). That’s why MMLP was so on-point–the beats went with his flow extremely well.

Refill is a great EP. Not one of them is wack. Em is being Em. Putting out music that no one else is doing at the moment and doing hiphop a favor bringing in some temperary fresh air that won’t last long cause of this dumbed down disease going around.

Man, you people just aint gettin it. First off, nobody in the Shady camp wanted to release this EP, these songs are all throwaways. Relapse 2 is a whole different fucking project then what it was first intended. Interscope demanded an EP, now they have an EP, I do not think anyone was interested in doing the fuckin project, but money needs to be made in these sad days for Music Labels. Relapse 2 will be THE PROJECT everyone is waiting for. Why? Because Marshall and crew do read, they know the reaction to Relapse 1, and they know what the expectations of Marshall are. The Refill is a taste of nothing, do not think for a second that Relapse 2 is not gonna be the shit..
Guess I’m the only one who thinks that Buffalo Bill track is dope as fuck… and so is Drop the Bomb on Em… Taking my Ball is meh, and everyone’s already heard Forever so that’s whatever… I still need to listen to the rest. But I like 3 out of 4 songs I’ve heard so far

@ Shihaby its funny u say that cause I was just listenin to the MMLP today (and Criminal is also my favorite track off that album) but yea I noticed the difference for awhile now but the only difference is the subject matter I know he does it a few times each album but wit Relapse and this its become more frequent, he is lyrically better than he was though, I also think ppl say Music Box is the best because the whole sound reminds them of the SSLP

Yes, definitely lyrically better. But there’s no enthusiasm anymore, it’s like listening to any Lil Wayne track after D3. Garbage!
The only difference is that Wayne actually wised up and dropped No Ceilings which brought back that hunger every artist has at the start of their career. I guess what I’m asking for is Eminem to drop a “No Ceilings” on us and remind us why we listen to him in the first place.

ever since i heard talks about relapse and that it´s gonna be 2 parts, ive just thought that part 1 was gonna be : hello im back. then he´s gonna be everywhere til part 2 drops. well i think that im on the right way. coz hes been doin some interesting stuff for the past 2-3 months: Rock the bells with the roots, the BET freestyle, forever, some award shows and now droppin refill. Think hes gonna pull thru do a really incredible lp and sell lp´s like acid sold on woodstock.
