immortal technique gets wayyyyy too much credit…i understand that his content is about real stuff. i have all his albums. they’re solid. but musically its not creative and its not clever lyrically. it’s almost a 180 gimmick thats opposite of what we hear on mainstream radio. he plays off people’s issues that affected them to sell albums and sell out concerts. that’s his persona…no disrespect to all the IT fans

ok. we had an event at uc berkeley where he came and actually was part of the drive for the orphanage in afghanistan. and he sucked! he does not know what he’s talking about. its unauthentic. he literally came to the event and I started talking to him about the orphanage and thanking him for the support and he doesn’t even know where afghanistan fucking is, what the issues of afghanistan are! then he just starts talking about how osama bin laden should fight for whats right? wtf is this guy talking about? i talked to the man.
