1) Relevance does not equal talent or skill. Last yr Brittany Spears was more relevant than anybody(bald-headed/flyn umbrellas)but nobody in thier right mind would argue she’s more talented than a Beyonce or a Mariah Scarey
2) Most artist are real heavy on the mixtape scene when they are new, and trying to create a buzz/larger fan base..ie Gucci, not Lupe. When Lupe was on his grind he was dropping mixtapes on the regular.(with better quality then this guy)
3. Gucci’s production is..crack, however his lyrics are…wack. This slurr that you speak of is not southern sounding, but more-so of a guy who sounds border line illiterate..or a severe stroke victim(you choose)..
4. I’m not hating on Gucci, but to argue that his popularity somehow makes him more lyrical, or relevant than Lupe is fuckin ridiculous!
