The concept and execution of this project are fucking phenomenal. Krukid conveys his stories and emotion incredibly, and my man Budo is just absolutely disgusting behind the boards. I need the sequel soon.

@ Robbie
Budo is a dope producer. He produced Mr. Lif’s Digi Data on DJX presents 4 and usually works with M.anifest (Wuddup!). He just recently dropped a dope instrumental album called One Bird on a Wire and put an album with Grieves called 88 Keys and Counting. Check those out, as well as the original 6 a.m. (if it can still be found, i know i got it and will pass it on to shake)

This is fucking horrible. anyone reading this comments do NOT download this bullshit. its not the worst thing of all time but if there was an opposite of ‘dope’, this would be it.

Serious. That song is dope and i can relate to that whole story. Budo’s production reminds me of Ratatat. I would say people should give it a try, its cool if it aint your style but dont knock it til you give it a listen.
xeroth3t3ck said this on November 27th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
COSIGNED XEROTH, THIS ISNT REALLY MY STYLE, BUT THE PRODUCTION IS SO CINEMATIC, AND THE SUBJECT MATTER IS TOTALLY RELATABLE
marlostanfield85 said this on November 27th, 2009 at 12:06 pm
Really feeling the concept execution on this one. Rare to find a story told coherently over such an epic soundscape.

Oh yeah and Budo does production on the M.anifest album The Birds and The Beats, which was just posted on here last week
xeroth3t3ck said this on November 28th, 2009 at 7:19 am
Both of them are just the best at it right now. Budo and Kruk. Man oh man. Between this and the sickness on the A.R.M. project, these dudes are putting down a lot of great work.

hehe, One Jewish guy and an African :). Say, is Africa all our homeland?
“The name “Africa” is the Latinized form of the Arabic “Ifriqa” or “Ifriqiyah,” which means “Queen of Heaven.” This was the original name of Tunisia, the northernmost country on the African continent…”
malcolm said this on November 28th, 2009 at 2:17 pm
(by the way, some more reading seems to render my previous comment about the origin of the name “Africa”).
malcolm said this on November 28th, 2009 at 2:20 pm
Is it just me or has anyone else disliked Budo’s production minus Ricky Pharoe’s album “Civilized,” Grieves’ album “88 Keys & Counting,” and the “A.R.M.” joint…?
