This is honestly my favorite type of posts on 2dbz. Just two dope artists getting together and vibing out. Earlier this month the Cypress Hill member and the Beat Junkie put on a percussionist meets turntablist set; in the same regards to and respect to DJ AM & Travis Barker.
We had the honor of the one and only B-Real of Cypress Hill introduce us….and we had legendary lyricist, Chino XL rock a verse with us. In the house that night: Sick Jacken of Psycho Realm, Young De of Soul Assassins, Buff1, Eric Coleman (MoChilla), The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Andre & Dennis of Wax Poetics, & Adrian Younge (composer of Black Dynamite) just to name a few.
On an unrelated note, I just got done speaking with Rhett and it looks like the dopehouse readers are gonna be hit with a very dope surprise sometime at the tope of the year. Oh yes!
