the future of hip hop
indeed ^^
J.COLE=A LIVING LEGEND!!!
http://devolutionent.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13696&hl=cole
Peep this for the “Therapist” days from J.Cole
Cat was a huge canibus fan on the forum that has spawn a lot of dope mc’s and producers in the game.
dope
LUPE > J. Cole > Jay-Z
On another note DJ Hyphen is very very deep in hip hop knowledge.
Pretty much you looking for good hip hop and hyphen says its dope then theres a damn good chance its just that.
Big ups to him.
Props on that J. Cole page…should check out my page on the underground Hip Hop site Goldmic.com (nominated for best underground site on VH1 Hip Hop Honors)

It feels good having my favorite rapper in my hometown…
J. Cole > Lupe
Until he makes of couple of hits that is when I will call him the future of hip hop. (Not hating on him)
OH…
Drizzy > J.Cole (In a basketball game, have you seen his game on Degrassi?)
‘Nuff said.
Lol, it’s tv. wow grow up. And right now I have to say Lupe > J. Cole, as he is better than most artists. Cole is the future of hip hop, he may surpass Lu someday.
J. Cole and his cheddar intake lmao. Man, I can’t wait for the album, or the mixtape if he drops one before it.
I’ve seen so many bullshit interviews where questions are asked that are fit for OK magazine or some shit…but that was one dope interview. J.Cole is the “next rapper alive” lol
the Come Up still in rotation on my music list in my phone, guy has skillz
@nickd kill yourself for saying that j.cole is better dan lu NEVER and I LOVE j.cole but he will never be better than lu
#SquareMeals Day 15 is now available for Download!!! http://wp.me/pBttT-49
This kid has to be the most overrated artist getting interviews and shine. Seriously, he’s made one really dope song – Lights Out. A couple good songs – cold world comes to mind. The rest of his material has been aight at best. I don’t doubt his ability but damn I want to listen first.
Whoever said j cole> lupe shoot yourself in the head….
Lupe >>>>>>>>>>>> J cole
^Drake?
( i ask james)
james wtf u talking bout
more like, whoever said lupe> J. Cole is fuckin sweating Lupe cause he is not relevant exept for the lazers project. He’s a mianstream rapper compared to J. Cole that has better raps I think personally
J. Cole >>>>>>> Lupe
na whoever says j.cole is overrated is crazy. the whole warm up mixtape is fire. and let’s not discuss lupe till puts out another album.
Or just wait till the 25th when Lu drops the tape and puts away the “relevant” nonsense lol
Until J. Cole releases a solid tape (which the Warm Up was not). The majority of the tracks were variations of the same topic – I like pussy but damn I’m conflicted by social issues. Son is not that deep and he’s best summarized by Lights Outs (which is his stand out track).
I think his actual album, if he drops one, will be dope. But, as of lately Cole been getting a lot of shine for a whole lot of nothing. He hasn’t even had a single on the radio. At least Drake, Wale, and CuDi have done that. Hate on them all you want but they’ve put work in.
Also, you’re an idiot if you’re dismissing Lupe because he hasn’t released a 3rd album. He’s easily among the dopest rappers this generation has seen.
you’re a dumbass saying the warm up wasn’t a solid tape.Personally, it’s a top 10 mixtape of this year, if not this decade. And yes, saying Cole is better than Lupe mostly comes from him not releasing his third album. How long since the cool? Fuck shut the fuck up
goddamn in the second part what is that beat at 9:00 i cant put my finger on it i know ive heard that shit somewhere
Is it wrong to like both Lupe and J cole equally or is that not allowed these days?
J.Cole has not released a top ten tape of the decade. Get his dick out of your mouth. And, yes, oneluv you can enjoy both artists equally. I’m not denying no one that. I’m just expressing my view that kid is mad overrated for the little work he’s put in.
I don’t think J.Cole is overrated, but his hype IS a lot higher than the quality of product he has put out so far. But I guess that’s the advantage of having Jay-Z in your corner. With that said, he has massive potential and I look forward to the music he puts out in the future.
‘goddamn in the second part what is that beat at 9:00 i cant put my finger on it i know ive heard that shit somewhere’
This Can’t Be Life off The Dynasty Album.
Anyone know the instro at 2.20 on the last vid? I can’t remember for shit lol.
Onederin, I don’t disagree with you. I think you’re saying the same thing as I am but in a different way.
