50 Cent has literally changed his tune. When MTV News recently asked whether he’d like the Jiggaman to respond to him, Fif said, “I could care less whether he replies to me.”
50 did note that a battle between him and Hov would thoroughly engage the game.
“Well, it would be great. It would be great for hip-hop,” 50 said about a battle between him and Jay. “It would probably be interesting, but I don’t think one of us will survive it.”
Fif also admitted that despite touring together in the past, appearing in a Reebok commercial, being photographed together at various events over the years and even sharing Madison Square’s stage a few years back during a monumental moment with T.I., Diddy and Kanye West, he and Jay-Z have no real friendship.
“I don’t have a relationship with Jay-Z,” 50 added. “We’re just both apart of hip-hop culture. We’re not friends. We don’t call each other to talk at leisure.”
Fif says he doesn’t know if Hov will respond to this latest dis, but he would absolutely go at Jay if the shoe were on the other foot.

There’s nothing wrong with 50 wanting to battle, but the dude doesn’t battle with his songs usually because he realizes he’s not a very good rapper, he just makes fun of people with his videos, which is not the foundation of hiphop. He doesn’t start beef to prove himself, he does it to promote his albums.

That made no fucking sense at all. Outkast made music that pleased a very wide variety of people, and their music wasn’t diluted. Just because something sounds different doesn’t mean its a worse quality of music. That Mr. Hudson track was just a bad track, not because it tried to appeal to a wide variety of people. Kanye made a song with the guy from Maroon 5, and it was very good, and a wide variety of people could enjoy it. Hip-Hop finds itself in a bad condition because the artists have stopped trying to make quality music and push the genre, they just flood the market with a ton of material to get their next check, not because they want a wider fan base.
50 has to be the only rapper in history to get so much attention for doing the same thing over and over again, this man is like on every episode of beef. he always disappears for like 5 or 6 months and then comes out announces a new album and then starts a beef out of thin air with who ever is getting the most attention at the moment,
