I enjoy bumpin wayne. I think Drought 3 was sick. But really? REALLY? I’m actually really confused that anyone can listen to any of these songs with the exception of maybe one or two and have any notion that Wayne is even in the same league as Royce.
When I first heard royce’s Y’all Must of Forgot, I was fucking blown away, and never listened to the Wayne/Scarface version ever again till today. And predictably, it didn’t come close to measuring up.
Lyricism isn’t disjointed similes, unrelated punches, and laughing at your own lines.

I don’t like Royce because he is shorter than me and that already makes me a better lyricist. I wanna hear an Andre X Ghostface mixtape or people who would actually contend for a title. I have been saying for years, I think since 2000, that Royce can go toe to toe with any rapper. He’s proven it time and time again, he even has Eminem (the greatest) beat in a few of their older songs. As for this 12 round battle, I have it scored Royce 7, Wayne 5. Very close, not their best shit, but very good.
