Why? I think that was one of the worst beats on BP3. Wale`s album is dope without it.

This isn’t the first time and it won’t be the last that Jay-Z (just like other major hip-hop artists in a similar position) keep beats. It’s not always a case of hoarding, a lot of the times they are being kept for other artists or other opportunities. Who knows, it might be something Kanye decided he wanted to keep or something that Jay-Z has already pencilled in for that next project he has mentioned.
