As one of the game’s most influential artists, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has the honor of holding down not one but two separate covers of XXL’s special year-end double issue. In the December/January cover story, the G-Unit CEO breaks bread with XXL to talk about his new album Before I Self Destruct, his big year on the Web with his site thisis50.com, his role in hip-hop and much more. Also included is a 10-year anniversary tribute to the making of the record that first brought 50 to the public, “How to Rob.”
Other features in the first-ever Internet Issue are XXL’s list of the 100 Best Hip-Hop Web sites, articles on Snoop Dogg and OJ Da Juiceman, as well as tribute pieces to rap legends ODB and Mac Dre to commemorate the fifth year anniversary of their passing. For the first time ever XXL has two candidates for Eye Candy of the Year, complete with a reader contest to vote for your favorite. But wait, there’s more as XXL reviews the new Gucci Mane album, The State v. Radric Davis.
XXL’s December/January double issue hits newsstands on December 1!!!!
Check out the alternative cover under the cut. Thoughts? Opinions? Bueller?

i find it kinda funny…under it says “the future is now” when actually 50′s career (in rapping) is long behind him……IMO
and BISD……doesnt hold a candle to “get rich”
Yall better be on the top 100

fuck your magzine!
I really stopped reading this mag. There more of rap instead of hip hop. I wanna see an issue strictly with underground/real hip hop of these days like little brother Sean price diz Gibran all the real shit these days. When they started puttin niggas like gucci mane an and the likes of other wack rappers on here they started fuckin up
Thats fuckin gay, where the fuck are the new class of freshman at? Apparently XXL didn’t wanna take the risks of missing people, mhmm (Drake, XV, J. Cole) and putting people like..Ace Hood? on…wackkkk
marketih…thats all you can do…they are catering to the right market…hate it all you want but how many people are going to stop and pick up a magazine with sean price on the cover and read stories on little brother..
i hate it to bro but thats the reality…..all we can do is not support…dont read or buy it
Fuck All Of Ya’ll… 50 Is The Man… I Just Downloaded The Album And Will STILL Buy It… G Unit For Life Bitches!!!
look at the other artists featured in the mag…..gucci, OJ, nikki, soulja boy???? hilarious….its almost bad publicity for someone like b.o.b. whose name is connected with those names…(i purposely didnt mention drake cuz dudes still 50/50 in my mind)
i hope 2dopeboyz gets on that top 100! for real…
its probs an interview of 50 spending most of his time taking shots at jay..as he tries to save his album from an inevitable flop
XXL = shit.
& 2dope better be on that list.
why is oj da juiceman on every fuckin xxl cover. god damn.
haters
Most undeserving cover of the year
another XXL aftermath related cover….SURPRISE SURPRISE
50 Is That Dude… Album Is Fire!… Fuck The Haters… G Unit For Life!!!
word psyfer the album is good. n I like the second cover with 50 sitting down counting the money, not a big fan of the first one.
SMFH @ those + names tho, Nicki Minaj, OJ Da Juiceman, Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Drake? wtf?
Anybody gonna give a link to the iTunes version of BISD?? Free link of course…
There Is A Mediafire Link But This Album Deserves To Be Purchased… I Agree Wit You Impulse… But Drake & Nikki’s Lyricism Is Impressin’ Me More Everyday!…
dah well =( i think i could’ve predicted that freshman cover. Jay Elect., Drake, XV, Nicki Minaj, OJ the Juiceman, Nipsey, J Cole, Big Sean, Fashawn, Wiz Khalifa
i say dropthevibe.com and 2dope all the way
Dam all these 50 Cent-covered bullshit issues are really making me regret my subscription to this magazene

it says the future is now, because one of 50′s first mixtapes was 50 cent is the future…or something like that…and related to that mixtape, the future is now.
what a fuckin dissapointment… i was really lookin foward to another XXL Freshman class of 2010 issue… that was probably one of the best spreads of the whole years worth of issues last year… i’m sick of 50 covers as i’m sure we all are…

This page appears to recieve a good ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It gives a nice individual twist on things. I guess having something real or substantial to post about is the most important thing.
I’d be inclined to set with you on this. Which is not something I usually do! I love reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!
