i’m just cannot lie, but the instrumentals are DOPE. and yes, 50 sounds like back in the GRODT days. but i still won’t forgive him for the last 2 albums…
Sure 50 ain’t the best rapper, but when the whole gangster / street shit was the thing, GRODT was considered the best album in that era. But when it slowly started getting played out, that’s when his albums looked like they fell off.
But then again thinking about it…his first lead single was Candy Shop, I mean with a name like Massacre why the fuck would you have a song based on girls unless you planned on slaughtering them or something…smh.
Curtis came out and everybody was hyped to buy the album only ’cause he challenged Kanye to that whole “If you sell more albums than me, then I’ll retire.” But now he’s coming out with this album, he just wanted boosted album sales since the recession was hitting everywhere…smh. & I mean his first single was Straight To The Bank followed by I Get Money..so basically his whole life will be spent around money & hoes..because Amusement Park came right after.
His business skills are awesome, but his music will never grow up. I’m not a 50 fan, but I do like some of his stuff.
