I’m at odds with such statements, although that does not take away the fact that Jay is truly a talented lyricist, but at times a pretty bad / strange Twitterer. Idkk..i co-sign to Elzhi being the newest lyrically proficient MC right now. I mean I really liked Swagger Jackson’s Revenge and Exhibit A, but other than those I feel like Jay Elect hasn’t put anything meaningful out. Using ‘smart’ quips doesn’t necessarily make you a good MC if their implied meaning is shallow…imo.
