Horse Shoe Gang – Natural Born Killaz x Gangsta Freestyle

Gearing up for the release of their debut album Gangsta M.C. (11/03) the Horse Shoe Gang recorded two new freestyles. Natural Born Killaz marks the 100th installment of DJBooth’s Freestyle Series, while the Haters Gangsta Freestyle is the 5th in Defsound’s imitation series (no idea’s original right?). And if you look up top you can check a little cypher from Crook’s blood brothers.

    Their lyrics are just, ugh, Killer. There are only a few I can tolerate on “Murda Murda Kill Kill Benjamen.” lyrics. And they are some of them.

  15. I have been hearing rumors that Crooked I’s new ep “Mr. Piggy Face Weapon Waist” is a let down….This is quite dissapointing.
    People have been referring to the ep as short and they have already heard the “better” tracks from it through past releases. Its a shame. I was really looking forward to it. I purposely am avoiding hearing it until I buy it. But, now, I am thinking that my dinero is better spent elsewhere….

    One cat from the blogosphere stated in his review “it should be named “Mr Pig Face Weapon Waste””.

    I cant believe this Crooked Man. It takes him 10 years to finally release material and it aint even a whole album. All we get is an EP.

    What is the deal? Does he not like to record in the booth?

    Also I am just receiving news over the wire, stating that the track with the Horse Shoe Gang appearance is rather dull filled with generic bragadoious lackluster ryhmes….

  16. there was alot of hate from that “cypher 2″ joint wit HSG and Royce on Crook’s EP….i think people diidnt like it bc they mite not of been listening 2closely…but thats what happens when u put so many good emcees on 1 joint u wont catch all the highlights (Slaughterhouse)…so 4 u “haters” please use the rewind button alot when listenig 2 theses emcees….u mite CATCH something u originally didnt hear………C.O.B!!!
