drake made a sacrificial offering to the devil thats how he blew up….thats a fact…
I’ve actually heard drake sacrificed his ability to procreate, and now sees only in black and white.
not really sure what to think bout drake anymore, i enjoy is solo music more then anything
haha that is funny meka. Birdshit lmao that is what he is.
That devil worship stuff is a little extreme, but I actually wouldn’t put it past a lot of artists who all of a sudden blow up and when they do, the stuff they stood for before they got famous is out the window. I’ve been a Drake fan for about three years, and I remember he used to say “I make some good clean hip hop for everybody to enjoy”. That was 2004. He still was cool by the time “Room For Improvement” and “Comeback Season” came out, but he started cussing then. He still said he didn’t do drugs or smoke weed.
By the time I heard “Overdose On Life”, I started to see a transformation. He was talking about how he was blowing smoke from the swisher…then you started hearing him talk about how he sips lean and all of this Lil Wayne stuff.
I remember he even did a blog post about it on his MySpace. It’s not there anymore, but he was addressing how he was changing, because some of his original fans were noticing how his content and morals were altering who is originally was. He stated that it was for the better. It was going to help him become a better artist. It also seemed to me like his song “Fear” was sort of a subtle cry for help, like he knows what is going on, but he has to do what he has to do to be successful.
“They want the hits, I play the game”
The homey is still one of my favorite artists and always will be, but sometimes I’m concerned about an artists’ soul and if they are selling it for success. It’s not worth it. Stay true to who you are. Even SUCCESSFUL was about that. It was like about the struggle in y our mind, with you own personal will. Money, cars, clothes and hoes? I SUPPOSE?
Sorry for the long rant. That was just my two cents on the matter. Commence the ridicule…lol.
^^^
wow u went in huh ?
god bless you…..
^^^ Congrats and applause to Mike Dreams ^^^
That was a great analysis on where Drake is at this point.Shyt I never really thought of it that way but it really makes sense.I dont think Yung Money is where his heart is or where his true tastes in life and music are(Much like we see the “real” Curren$y now).Think the money is gettin in the way of who he once was as an artist and tracks like “Successful” and “Fear” are subtle signs of him knowing his music is changing unwillingly.Iono, only one can suppose from the outside looking in
haha oh shit tagteam haha…
aye for real baby fucks up every song hes on and is given to him..
its too bad…….i really like the hook to this song
Father-son tag team. LOL!!!!!!!
its funny how the bts looks better than the actual video.
Hence why I don’t respect drake.
drake needs to get back to jocking phontes style. the wayne esque shit is awful
