the south does not have anything orginal. they just use the same exact pattern over and over. make a typical fruity loops beat… and colorful clothes and a 5th grade dance… bam a hit!

true BUMMER, but artist like T.I, Jeezy, Ludacris, Wayne (all from the south) have managed to make amazing albums, while other arist (Soulja Boy, Dro, Rick Ross, BOB, Currensy, Plies. Gucci) maintain a new buzz and add freshness to hip hop that it needs. NY cant stand the fact that the south has orginality that makes them mainstream but it wasnt for that maintstream music then rap wouldnt maintain the popularity that allows for higher success for a group like Slaughterhouse. South is keepin it fresh, while the eastcoast is rehashing the same old music from the 90s

Because the 90′s hip hop was about hip hop. Now, its “rap” and its not about having a good time or talking about problems and being a man, its about hoes and money. American’s are becoming stupider and stupider every single day. In 30 years, you’ll still remember Nas & Jay & 50. You gonna remember plies and gucci… probably not

and most of those rappers have classic albums that will be respected in hip hop for years to come…. how many classics does Plies, Gucci, Soulja Boy, New Boyz, Lil Bossie, Pitbull and others have?

only rappers from NY that were at this event that were under 30 are Cory Gunz, Juelz, Maino, & Ortiz (29). But regardless, NY have your little moment just know hot new NY artist havent popped off in years (i.e. Gunz, Papoose). NY is STILL riding on the back of Jay-Z and 50, all your good artists were doing music in the mid 90s (i.e. Jadakiss, Raekwon, Busta Rhymes, Nas), cmon now. Realisticly NY hip hop is dieing out cuz even some of the best NY artist are making there singles sound like southern rap (i.e. Fabolous, “Throw It In The Bag”)….do i need to explain myself more??? i think not…
