  4. This joint is TOO ill. I’m feeling this so much. RAtheMC has been on my radar for about a year now. (I think it’s been a year since I first came across her on DJBOOTH.NET).

    I love that Kanye West interpolation. This joint is hitting home right now. FOLLOW YA DREAMS!

    1. This is the first Twitter project I’ve ever heard of
    2. If there have been more, don’t just look at the tile and judge already. Listen to the music. A Mixtape Concept is JUST a mixtape concept. This is one of those instances where you should NOT judge a book (or mixtape) by it’s cover.

  8. Okay…I can feel you on the Twitter thing. I think she could have possibly been more creative (I remember her Martin show one was dope), but real talk, name another femcee that is doper than RA right now that’s relevant. I mean, dropping consistent material and on the rise. From the first time I heard of her, I’ve continued to hear new stuff from her all the way until now. I know MC Lyte just dropped a TRACK and Invincible dropped a VIDEO, Psalm One dropped a FREESTYLE, but before that, I hadn’t heard from any of them in a while, and who knows when’s the next time we will hear from them again. I guess when I said “Best in the game right now”, I actually meant it in the sense of “as we speak”. She is someone who is staying relevant and turning more heads (No Double Entendre) daily.

  9. just because an artist doesnt drop tracks weekly or make sure they have a freestyle on the hottest blog each month doesnt mean they arent relevant. you mentioned invincible and i think shes better. rapsody from kooley high is just as dope as well.

  10. I feel you on that. I don’t deny some of the other femcees dopeness at all. But it seems like if it’s a male artist, most people would say that if they aren’t dropping material pretty consistently, that it’s #OnToTheNext one.

    But Invincible is definitely dope. I rocked a show with her back in 2007 in Detroit. She’s the one who influenced me to push an anti-misogynistic approach in the hip hop music I make.

    I’m not up too much on Rapsody, so I will check her out.
