I thought T-Pain was terrible before, but goddamn he knows how to take terrible to the next level. Without them spacey future beats its just trash imo. On a positive, his app is coo, DOA or not that shit is fun.

T-Pain will come to regret this retreat from Auto-Tune. Here in “Take Your Shirt Off” it makes only a few cameo appearances to punctuate the end of a few lines, and the short verse about 2/3 of the way through. Meanwhile, Auto-Tune is no where to be found on the recently leaked “Dope”. To be sure, this isn’t the subtle and artistic use of Auto-Tune that we’ve come to expect from T-Pain. As I’ve written elsewhere, T-Pain is taking a high stakes gamble, and I fear mainstream success without Auto-Tune simply isn’t in the cards.
