It’s not his fault…. it’s Atlantic and their fuckery and stupidity when it comes to promoting their August. I’ve heard Lasers may not come out until even MARCH next year, but hopefully him previewing this snippet is a sign that Lasers is still dropping in December

That’s so wack about Atlantic Records. See, that’s what I’m saying. If people want the radio to change, they have to be open to it. I recall a couple of time on here (as a matter fact, very recently on that J.Cole post about “Lights Please” being his lead single) that people were like “I don’t think this is a radio single, etc, etc, but it’s like, if you want radio to change, embrace artists who drop eclectic and left field style singles. It didn’t used to be like this like 7 years ago. Every song didn’t have to be female-oriented, or have auto tune or any of that. I remember when I could turn on the radio and here Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet”. That was a great SINGLE.
Radio has to revamp itself.

I knew Atlantic was fucking this dude over again from the fucking release of Shining Down. Like no video?!?!?! Come the fuck on. They won’t let the dude do LupEND to finish his contract so he goes to make Lasers, drops a hot ass song, and they still fuck him over. I mean damn, Atlantic is so ass backwards. They would rather get Jay’s shit out which didn’t even go gold in 1st week. Tip is in jail so he obviously ain’t dropping anything new until next year. Also they cancelled his re-release for no fucking reason but yet they got Jay’s shit out with no problem. We want some Lupe Fiasco God dammit. Promote this dude or release him so he can get his album out that should have been released soooo long ago, that simple.

Its pretty damn sad. Is it just me or If I didn’t decide I was gonna dig and scrub the web for his music, you’d never hear Shining Down on the radio. Atlantic is useless.
