esJustme” is a song I produced and wrote based on the simple man I am (or at least try to be). I go by the Government – Daniel Joseph – but I do have an alias, espee-ONE (es 1- a name you may hear in my songs) hence the “es” in the title. The concept of the video was brought to me by “Brain Storm Creative Lab” – a new Video Production Company who wanted to use the song for their debut using green screen technologies ( ha! I don’t even know if that’s what you call it).
The Concept of the video was to put emphasis on who I am. The wardrobe used is to portray different types of characteristics of hip hop – but, the main focus is to tell the viewer that although I’m a simple man (I usually only hold my hat collection as prized), the music I make holds all of these characteristics sincerely.
The final product wasn’t the original plan for the video, because we only had so much of a budget and time. Brain Storm did a great job with the background visuals and it would be a waste not to show people the talent they have. so here it is folks.
