what the fuck would the E stand for? the cover was cool and shit but its the blueprint.. the last two were blue… maybe instead of red, he couldve tried BLUE! now his album cover looks like a target ad.

2dopeboyz should help a fan out and post the alternative artwork I did for Cudi’s album… I’m getting great feedback and a post on this blog would really get my professional career on the right track! It’s on wwww.fortunebyfame.com ! Regarding this post… I love the art direction for BP3… I still think it should have kept the BLUE colorization though.

Im holding the cd right now and I think it’s creative. Maybe wanted to do something different this time around. I think since Red is more bolder than Blue, and it catches your attention easily, he decided to go with that.

that unused cover doesnt make as much sense as the one used…and as i was told by one of my proffesors not so long ago good artist borrow…great artist steal. Jay did bite the cover, its obvious. If you didnt notice Jay is w/o a doubt the most famed artist who literally bites any and everything possible. One thing I do give him credit for is having money so even when his lyrical skills suck his beat selection, hooks, and overall production quality is fucking amazing, now thats good business.

come on now. The photographer of the album cover had a previous project entitled E. That is the second picture. It’s not an alternative cover…it is the work that inspired the official cover. The same guy who did that picture did the BP3 cover…his name is Dan Tobin. Do ya homework, kiddies

I thought they did a 3d scan like Kanye’s Complex cover shoot http://herfection.com/?p=7079 then thought they touched up the black bits (keyboard keys ect.) And a simple Photoshop job on the 3 red stripes. Prolly woulda been done in a few hours. Guess that’s why they make the big bucks.

the bp3 is my fave out of all jays album covers. the rest of jays album covers (except bp2) are all pretty mad too…espcially blak album.
