  1. nero was bobbin n weavin like a crackhead lol boy chill out but songs dope

  2. Does anyone else think that if you weren’t born before 1980 you shouldn’t be doing “boom-bap” style hip hop? Maybe im alone in this but it sounds corny for a 20-something or below nigga kickin’ shit we ALREADY heard from the early 90′s.

It is a solid joint though all in all.

  3. these verses would have been dope 1992.

  4. this kid is mad gross with this hip hop music…AGREED

  5. nero is dope but anyone else think the editing is to quick

  6. music is music. and this is dope. open ya’ll ears

  7. ^^ Agree on the editing. I actually find his vids to be kinda awkward, but his music is dope.

  8. give him a break, the dudes fucking 16 and killing it harder than most of these other dude trying out there

  9. on the history channel today. they talked about the emperor “Nero.” He poisoned his brother, sent soldiers to stab his mother in her vagina and kill her, killed his first wife and kicked his pregnant second wife to death, lit fire to his own city to build a golden building and much more. lol sorry just thought everyone should know.
    dope song btw

  10. Why does him being 16 even matter, the kid is dope and that is that.

  11. he’s obviously a youngster, which is dope, that someone who was even alive when the boom bap was big is bringing back the lyrical flavor. He’s got time to hone his craft.
This is what kids who werent born in the 80′s SHOULD be doing so that they have respect for the foundation. The one saying they shouldnt is prolly the same one hating on youngsters who AREN’T into the boom bap.
    Bravo youngin…keep spittin..obviously very talented.

  12. its 2009 right?…isn’t it? take this weak shit back to 93′

  13. Man, Nero is an F’n beast fam. I’m going to admit that I wasn’t completely convinced when I FIRST heard of him, but when I heard Relive The Moment a little bit back and stuff, I knew dude was ill. I commend him just because he had the focus to channel and pay homage to a certain era of hip hop. That’s so hard for a young artist (I know first hand as well) because everything new is influencing us as well.

But this is dope. A simple, laid back beat from the 90s that let’s us focus on the lyrics, that were mad ill by the way.

“If you come into the Slaughterhouse, you better me resembling Tahiry”.

    Illy.

And his manager Mike Waxx just said this was the last “90s Homage” Nero will we here, and his future stuff from now on will be all original, new school ish, so I’m eager to see what he comes up with. I think the new school thing is having iller, more exciting beats (I would say more mainstraem, but people act like that’s a bad thing), but yeah, more mainstream style beats while still spitting potent lyrics over the top.

Great examples are Wale, Drake (if you contest this, hit me up and I’ll prove it to you…lol), Big Sean and Asher Roth.

  14. yo this song is dope as shit, “my beats got more bumbs than brail” that line was so hard to me for some reason lol

  15. yo Mike Dreams who the fuck are you, sit your fat ass down and get off this kids nuts, this song/freestyle sounds dated, maybe he is the truth but this shit was not good.

  16. good shit.

  17. Respect to the old school shit, we can all tell what purp listens to. Ha.

  18. this was was pretty sick regardless if it had a vintage feel or not good music os good music

  19. sounds like a redman beat from the muddy waters era
