how can you call BP3 a classic when there are the 3 or 4 Timbaland songs that I skip every time on there along with the Swizz Beats song!? That’s 4-5 bad songs on the CD = not even close to classic.
on the other hand i listen to OB4CL2 straight beginning to end.
^^ agree on the CL2. but BP3′s a classic, well, it all depends on the way you look at it. you may not look at it as classic, but look at it this way: hip-hop can’t always stay in the whole 90′s raw lyrical shit we all love. it needs to grow at some point. for many, CL2 is what we’ve been wanting to hear for years, and it brought us back to the old school. BP3, in my oppinion, is a vision of the future. if we, as a culture, want to stay on top of the music biz, we have to evolve at some point. just saying…

WTF!!! Jay pushed the album release date up to 9/8 (since it’d been leaked already why not?) Had 2 different versions of the album and promoted it HEAVILY, and Rae ends up #1 on iTunes!!!

You going way over our heads with them sales and status’s you’re talking about. CL2 ain’t really packed in stores like BP3. Very far from it. Not the same distributer. He can only put out so many until he gets paid. And iTunes definitely won’t get him anywhere close to it.
I just copped CL2 and the shit is wack. I just heard BP3 and it could have been a lot better but i’m going to make up for everything they didn’t do on the Great Escape album coming soon
