KiD CuDi – Man On the Moon (Production Credits)

Before I jump into this post… yes, I know that CuDi’s demos leaked. And no, we will not be posting them (upon request) so save some time and stop sending emails!

You’ll see that Kanye came out of the album with only 2 tracks, Sky Might Fall (co-produced by Cudi) and Make Her Say. Emile (4 songs) and Plain Pat (2 songs), who have worked closely with Cudi since releasing A Kid Named Cudi last year each contributed to the album as well. Rounding out the production is RATATAT (2), Free School (2), Matt Friedman of ILLFONICS (1), Crada for Motion Music (1) and Dot Da Genius (1). Also credited is Jeff Bhasker who worked closely with Kanye on 808’s last year.

  1. this album will be good gonna suprise yall

  2. Ye def gonna be a great one.

  3. I love how it’s split up into acts. Let’s see how much Cudi’s progressed.

  4. I have a good feeling about this one

  5. To bad Dot da Genius didn’t produce more tracks on the album being he was responsible for Day N Nite’s success.

  6. RATATAT is dope.

  7. No 88-Keys? A little disappointed. Plain Pat whattup.

  8. when did chip change his name? hope that’s a typo.

  9. Emile is dope

  10. fuck Plain Pat, another A&R trying to get into production securing himself some extra money. shady ass

  11. shouts to my man Crada. Kid got beats for days (n nights)… dude was in charge of the D-Block single (or should I say LOX comeback single?) “Get That Paper” – really lookin forward to the album

  12. that LOOKS dope. lets see if it is

  13. Blunt, very blunt, CuDi better do well or else he’s gonna fuck up the entir hipster new world (on his own). I still say he’ll be the new Mos Def (in due time lol).

  14. coppin

  15. I was excited about Kid Cudi’s music in 2008 with “A Kid Named Cudi”. That was my nighttime anthem along with Drake’s “SO FAR GONE”.

Lately, I have sort of forgotten about the homey. I haven’t been listening to all the leaks and demo tracks, but I think that will turn out to be a good thing, because it will be a refreshing surprise when I cop the album.

  16. Sidebar – Who thinks a Kid Cudi x Blu collab would be extra dope?!

  17. Chip Tha Ripper not Chipper

  18. I think a Kid Cudi x Novel ACTUAL Collabo would be cool.
Sky Might Fall Pt. II anyone?

So Far Gone still remains my “Go Ahead and Drift off to Sleep during the middle of Track 2.” I also do the same thing with Dat Kid from Cleavland.

  19. Looking forward to this, skipping out on that demo tape that leaked, don’t think it’s worth possibly ruining the album.

  21. neone got a link to the demo that leaked????

  22. i dont get this demo tape. the songs that ive heard from it arent even on the album?

  23. Definitely got my support. Although Dot tried to play me once, he’s a dope ass producer, he should’ve gotten more tracks. He’s a huge push behind Cudi & Factz (“Who’s Hotter?” goes so hard) — and no unheard Kanye production? I respect Cudi for trying to do things on his own and not rely on hype, but it wouldn’t kill him to put some big names on the album.

  24. Link to the demo tape

  25. cudi has grown on me alot over the last year..at first i was like what the fuck is this shit?..but now that ive had a chance to get a nice collection of his music its been in the rotation rather steady..i personally like the follow me track..his style is just so different its refreshing to hear something on a different level from what im used to listening to.

  26. Cudi will be successful because his shit doesnt sound the same asd everyone else and its not different to the point you see he’s trying to hard he’s being himself and enjoying it. he might not be a beast with a pen but musicly he’s one of the best he knows how to put a song together and not just spit a 16

  27. Out of the few tracks I’ve heard from this album, so far I aint feeling Solo Dolo

  28. i just really want that soundtrack 2 my life track….

  29. I want that “Soundtrack To My Life” joint too. I thought it was dope the first time he did it on 106 and Park.

  30. wow its broken up into acts, must be on some next level shit, you fuckers are stupid this dude cant rap for shit, stick to Lupe if u want real lyrics about something

  31. awhh .. no track with a Ryan Leslie production

  32. Kudi got me with that zone track. Lookin to be a banger forsure. Real talk.

  33. that taking a trip act seems interesting
