I actually attended this show last night (Uptown to Red Hook and back = Raiders Of The Lost Ark-type of journey. Sheesh) and I caught Jeru The Damaja, Gravy (I know) and a few other cats in attendance as well. This shit right here = the reason why I love New York.

  4. Premo is messy Live – I love his production though and his cuts on gangstar are still the best on wax to date – But I have to say scratch is nice with a crowed – evil-D holds it down too, that was some tabalist tish right thur !

  10. Premo is kinda messy live. I remember seein him once, doin a rock set, and all he did was play records. No mixing, scratching, blending, mashing, fancy tricks….NOTHING. Then he went into a set of his own records, and that blew. Producer….YES. DJ….on tour…..YES. DJ….live sets….boooo

  11. THE SHOW WAS ORIGINALLY BILLED- PETE ROCK VS. PREMIER…I’M GLAD DJ SCRATCH took Pete Rock’s place he made the show worthwhile. It was good to see Primo smile, have a good time, and not be a grump. SCRATCH stole the show but it was well worth going into the Brooklyn boonies of Red Hook! MEKA u were in the crowd? Were u on stage too? Who shot the video?

THATS WHY UNDERGROUND DJS WILL REMAIN UNDERGROUND, BECAUSE IT IS FUCKIN BASIC…I THINK THAT IS KINDA WEAK TO BE HONEST AND EVEN THOUGH PREMO MAKES OUT OF THE WORLD MEGA BEATS, THE WAY HE NODDED HIS HEAD TO THE SCRATCHING WAS KINDA DORKY…LOL
