Hip Hop, VideoLast night the homie Big Boi invited me over to Stankonia Studios to let me hear Sir Lucious Leftfoot: Son of Chico Dusty in its entirety. And I must say…the shit is fie. Twelve straight tracks of nothing but that funk. I didn’t hear a song that was skipworthy. Dude really put his Leftfoot off in this album. Hell, with it being 2 years and 9 months in the making, we can’t expect nothing but that fie at this point. But yeah, after the listen we chopped it up for bit and I recorded some of our conversation. He spills a couple good beans (confirmed he will be at the Goodie Mob reunion show) and bad beans (he’s not signed to Def Jam?) in the video, so watch the whole thing.

Huge Outkast fan and I’ve been waiting for this. 1. because Royal Flush & Sumthin’s Gotta Give were dope. 2. The plan was once Boi dropped Andre was gonna drop his 3. After the solos were done, they were coming back together. Let’s get it going.
Royal Flush still gets play in the whip, I live in GA and they sure do love to use the word “FIE” lol… Outkast been them dudes though i’ll definitely check big boi shit out

cant wait for this
“Fie”? Lol
hopefully the album is fie.. but fo’ real, what i’m waiting for is that Andre.. can’t w8 to hear the full version of Lookin’ For Ya.. and Andre is always killin’ Bog Boi imo, or at least on most songs, but they’re both so diverse.

Big Boi is still without a doubt one of the kings of Atl and the South! cant wait for that Leftfoot to drop!
DJ Wreckineyez & I were listening to this album at the superbowl party held at Stankonia Jan’08. This was right before Royal Flush dropped. The album had a hevily funk texture and the best thing I’ve heard in many years. Shit was incredible! I pondered grabbing the cd from the cd changer & running down the street with it! I knew I would get far tho. since there are few alley ways in Atlanta to make a smooth get away! This will be a classic!
