Ladies and gentlemen the producer for Felt 3 has been revealed! *drum roll… Aesop Rock! He wasn’t on my list of hopefuls but he will definitely do. I’m officially amped (as if I wasn’t before haha). We’re still in the dark as to who the record will be a tribute to though. Either way… huge shouts to RSE for the free gift. UPDATE: Nothing has been 100% confirmed but it looks like Felt 3 will be a tribute to Sarah Palin (shouts to broclee on the find). I’ve gotta say… I was hoping for Rosie Perez. *sad face.

Felt 2 is one of the best albums in recent hiphop. Hopefully this can be a worthy follow up, but while I love Aesop Rock, he can’t make beats as good as Ant can

I agree with Young Son, I can’t remember what interview it was in but I thought it was Rosario. The beat is ok, I would prefer if Ant was on the boards because pretty much everything he touches is amazing and slug on ant production > 99.9% of everything else.

Aesop Rock is actually a mad decent producer, he produced the majority of Bazooka Tooth – and there were some dope tracks on there.

Rosario Dawson makes the most sense. According to Slug’s previous statement it was someone who’s not black or white which eliminates everyone that y’all are talking about (especially Sarah Palin) other than Rosie & Rosario. Not too excited about Aesop Rock on production & this beat kinda reaffirms my apprehension. Not bad, but nothing special, lyrics are dope.
If you look at broclee’s link pic and the blurred out one on the right, they look very VERY similar. And if the number of blank spaces is actually a clue then Rosario can be counted out, and Sarah Palin would fit. Not really excited about it, but it seems like she’s the choice

I love all the hate for Aesop’s production when the album isn’t even out yet. Aesop Rock has always been def producer so why don’t you try the wait and see approach before all the hate.
Aes, Slug, and MURS have always killed shit and there aren’t many collaborations I’d be this pumped for. The album is gonna be awesome.
