Back in NY for a couple days from a week of prepping and directing in Toronto with October’s Very Own. Drake, Oliver and 40 are the truth. We just shot something epic! So ruff, so tuff. I’ll be back in Toronto at the end of the week for a few weeks to edit, vibe with them, and make sure this is the video. Drake and Trey Songz were amazing. Nothing like hearing Successful blast through the city streets at 3am on a process trailer while fans run and scream in tow.
On the style side Oliver killed it with pieces from Barbour, Comme des Garçons, Red Wing, V::Room, Wings + Horns, Ransom, and (a brand he introduced me to that I love) Klaxon Howl. Oliver’s vision was classic heritage done with a gritty, modern edge, which looked sick.
Spotted at OctobersVeryOwn.

i can’t wait for this video…and what was so wrong with the video for “best i ever had” ???
^^^ alot. But I thought wayne waas supposed to be on this one too?
no he took Wayne verse out
he is but he filmed his part of the video separately from drake and trey songz…wayne won’t be on the trey songz’ album version of the song tho…for trey’s album they took out weezy and added an extra verse from trey
yeah and where the dirty, when thats gon drop
There wasnt shit wrong with the “Best I Evr Had” vid…a buncha butthurt lil 16 year old girls and all the Drake haters were the only ones that shouldnt have liked it… it had a meaning behind it and was “fun” so i really dont see a problem with it at all..i mean come on the hook of the song goes “Your the fucking best, your the fucking best, the best i ever had”.. what did yall expect?
Anywayz, im looking forward 2 this vid^^ alot
Drake is why hip hop is wrong. He made a video that had nothing at all to do with the song at all.
^^^ and making the same old “pop champagne/i got mad money/i pop tags/i got mad chains” videos is whats good?…since when does drake have to be this good guy rapper…he can have titties in the video my god
this is one of the few tracks i like from the kid…uptown is the other. hope this vid is good, this is a great song…but something about drake sets off my phony alarm…
He’s an actor who can sing and rap, and he’s not bad at it. But he ain’t hip hop.
daaamn, heard Trey’s version and that shits evn better than the original! 2 bad its the clean tho… if somebody could post the dirty version id appreciate it (couldnt find it google)
yeaaaaaaaaaaaa dirty….. fuck is this clean pussy shit. so glad wayne is off it.
wtf. they took the wayne verse out. one of his best recently.
and they made it trey songz’s song. thats gay as fuck.
Drake is why hip hop is wrong. He made a video that had nothing at all to do with the song at all.

That above comment is an obvious video comprehension FAIL.
And making a off-brand video doesn’t make the artist become what’s WRONG in hip hop.
*directs your attention to the group making songs about Booty Doo.
Best I Ever Had is about how every girl is the best girl, how was a video about random girls that Drake claims are the best not relevant? it was also fucking hilarious
cutting his braids off is the best thing that ever happened to trey….
Erasing Wayne’s verse FTW!
No hate.
