I just remember driving from the studio at like 3AM in the mornings for a few weeks straight after long sessions listening to this joint on repeat. It was mad inspiring.
I hope the video turns out dope and that people show it love. I have no doubt that it will be better than “Best I Ever Had”.

this is gun be on treys upcoming album ‘ready’. i think he deserves alot of credit for this track as he came up wit the whole concept of the song originally after bein inspired by the sort of darker atmosphere it creates thru the beat!

This introspective type song “Successful” is a lot like something Eminem would have did. He just would have been a little more amped and straightforward. At the end of the day, it’s all personal lyricism…and that’s one of my favorite types of hip hop music.
