@dt… I feel exactly the same way about what you said joe. I feel that people take Lupe for some kind of joke or something because he’s not rapping about being in the trap or shooting niggas. Just the other day I was trying to explain to one of my cousin’s about how Lupe is the best rapper out, and all he could say in defense was that Lu was lame and wasn’t messing with Wayne and Gucci. That’s sad if people actually think that.

Hey Dolce, I don’t even think that Lupe smokes yo. He’s been pretty vocal about that in the pass. He doesn’t smoke or drink, and unless he’s there for a show or something, he doesn’t go clubbing. I’ve always respected that about him.

Honestly, when I first heard this guy, I felt he was one of the greatest of all time already, but I know it would take people a while to figure it out. I still remember when I used to talk about him and people would refer to him as “Oh, that skateboarding nigga?”. But now he’s finally getting his just due.

Congrats Lupe. Let’s get that LASERS popping. I’ve been listening to TOO much Drake and not enough Lupe (No shots!) LOL.

Lupe Fiasco is a really a dope performer man. He seems like he’s getting a little more ratchet in his performances…lol. I wonder if that DVD ever dropped yet?

It’s so dope though that two Chicago, Illinois acts from America could have such a great following way out in Japan. Hip Hop is Global Now (and I mean ACTUALLY Global, not just DJ Khaled Global…lol)
