Jay knows Em killed him. Why else would he obviously not give a fuck about his performance? Jay not only fell off lyrically, but he fell off with his performance. He needs take some of those pep pills that senior citizens are supposed to take…
Em is definitely not lip syncing. First of all, you can hear that his voice is different. Second of all, the video isn’t high enough quality for you to tell if he is lip syncing. 3rd of all, when he pulls the mic away from his face and his voice is still going, it’s because of his voice-overs; you can clearly hear jay’s overdubs off from his vocals. Eminem’s performance is just like 10x better than Jay’s lazy ass.

i’m pretty sure they don’t (or didn’t for this show) have a performance track of the song and they are simply rapping over the recorded track with low microphones or a hushed tone.
i agree Jay’s performance was lazy, but i think Em’s was distractingly tourette-like. They were both at the extremes and needed to find a happy medium.

I think it’s pretty clear that the DJ Hero people ‘dubbed’ this live performance footage with the original track. Like the footage prob couldn’t pick up their mics well enough, cuz if you listen you can hear there actual rapping coming thru too, and so they just put the original track on top of the recorded footage to make it sound better, or clearer. Clearly it didn’t seem to work
I hope if the DJ Hero folks dubbed in the original track, they also dubbed in all that crowd noise. If not, people need to learn to shut the fuck up at a show while they’re actually performing the songs.
