The script can be flipped on you for being elitist and limiting what hip-hop is. The art form is bigger then Big L and Big Daddy Kane. It’s grown out the hood. It’s adjusted to to different people of different background of different beliefs of different regions. It was a natural process. That’s called life. Get over yourselves. Peep what you like but stop being haters. There’s a proper place for everything whether you want to admit it or not.
Besides maybe you should update your hip-hop history and see what Kool Herc was about which was partying and impressing folks on the corner. My major point remains: culture changes, if it were to stay the same it would be a negative. It’s only for the good that it changes. Absolutely not, do I hold down 2 jobs to pay for college? Yes. You are just as racist as the “caucy’s” who display their ignorance by being racist towards others. People like that disgust me, and it saddens me that they are still prevalent in our world today. Hip-hop shouldn’t be about alienating people based on color, place of origin or whatever other factors. It should be about bringing people together that have similar interests.
