How is ‘The One’ not a radio record? Every punch is some nod at that faux Rock N’ Roll shit that’s so popular right now, or a namedrop of some artist connected to the genre or pop in general. Weak.
Yall know Mef is the GOAT OF hip hop. anyone dissagree, meet me at the website attached. I am sick and tired of joe budden ringtone rappers talking all of this smack like they are any good at rap. Because they are not. I noted the amount of drake, budden, slaughterhouse STANS on this cite and I just wanted to say that it is dispicable. This cite is infested with Caucasians from the suburbs who live in you parents house, driving daddies BMW blasting hip hop music. well guess what….you look like a fool. I wish you caucys would stick to their own kind. Rock and Roll is for you. Pop music is for you. Hip Hop music is for the hood. we in the gryme….we strugglin. You aint cuz you buy your albums with the allowance money your mommy gives you, even though you are what like 22 years old? Well I come from the west brighton projects. You probbably have no idea about it. But it is referred to as the wild wild west. We can relate to real hip hop. ciz we see it every day. Caucys from the nice house cannot relate. they have no idea. So this is why I understand how caucys like asher roth and joe buddens, and soulja boy. But yall got it alll wrong. stop ruining our culture. You have already taken us from the motherland, sent us off on slave ships and brought us to this place. Now you want to be like us? Live our lifestyle? and worship our culture? Wow…..is all I have to say. Your Caucy forefathers must be rolling in their graves. Caucys have done enough to us, now u have to ruin our roots, hip hop? I think not.
YET AGAIN WITH THE REPOST THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEFINITION OF A HATER TAKING AWAY FROM THE FACT THATS ITS JUST HIPHOP WANNA THROW RACE AND REGION INTO THE MIX WHICH HAS A LIL TO DO WITH THE MUSIC INSTEAD OF LISTENIN TO AN ARTISTS MUSIC AND REALLY SEEIN WHAT ITS ABOUT …FUCKIN DISCRIMINATORY PEOPLE NOW AND DAY
jOEL oRTIZ is yet another example of a sell out. He hasn’t done anything new for hip hop. what you think no one can flow tighter? Go pick up a Big L or Big Daddy Kane CD. Someone needs to skool you youngins because it is quite clear that the majority of children on this cite have no idea of what real hip hop is. It is getting quite discouraging having to read peoples opinions on this cite, when clearly they have no substance or supporting facts or documentation. I swear, yall should have to go to hip hop college in order to voice yall opinions. Oh well, just like the bush presidency, the blind is leading the blind while the hood and real kats suffer.
First, I would just like to mention that I rarely ever post in these comment sections because of the lack of intelligent comments that I see here. However, I have to agree 100% percent with this WU killa be bounty hunter. He does have a point and you all know it be true. The majority of commenters probably could not name 5 KRS songs, public enemy or Big Daddy Kane. Trust is what you need. It is a shame with what happened to this art form. Wateredown…..
The script can be flipped on you for being elitist and limiting what hip-hop is. The art form is bigger then Big L and Big Daddy Kane. It’s grown out the hood. It’s adjusted to to different people of different background of different beliefs of different regions. It was a natural process. That’s called life. Get over yourselves. Peep what you like but stop being haters. There’s a proper place for everything whether you want to admit it or not.
Besides maybe you should update your hip-hop history and see what Kool Herc was about which was partying and impressing folks on the corner. Hell, arguably, the first MC (Coke La Rock) has admitted to just trying to get women to like him. KRS and Public Enemy one took a different approach. It doesn’t make them anymore or less hip-hop. Get over yourselves ya fucking elitist faggots.
Seems like James happens to be an exact prototype of the caucy I am referring to in my other posts. It is not elitism. It is my culture. Just because I am afican american, it does not make me a hip hop elitist. However, James, I would like to thank you for being the guinea pig in my experiment.
None of you have replied to my post with any real arguments, just accusations. If you can tell me how I’m wrong then do so but you haven’t.
My major point remains: culture changes, if it were to stay the same it would be a negative. It’s only for the good that it changes. The elements of the past you liked still exist but they’re not as popular. So what? It doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy then any less than you did then when they were popular.
but it is hypocritical. I have witnessed people of white descent listening to an afro-american hip hop group and within five minutes referring to us as m0nkeys or the N word.
The example you just provided is irrelevant to your og post. But…
I never said racism is dead. It exists on many levels. People you have described in that last post are idiots. I do not defend them.
And, so you know, I’m white. On top of listening to hip-hop and enjoying it, I also listen to celtic music. I’m not celtic. Sue me. I like what I like and how one acts is not reflective of the music one listens to.
Trust me racism is alive and flourishin.

Yes, it is…in your original post. Funny how you stereotype “caucy’s”, but complain about racism. I am white, I am 22 and I do live in the suburbs. Do i get an allowance? Absolutely not, do I hold down 2 jobs to pay for college? Yes. You are just as racist as the “caucy’s” who display their ignorance by being racist towards others. People like that disgust me, and it saddens me that they are still prevalent in our world today. Hip-hop shouldn’t be about alienating people based on color, place of origin or whatever other factors. It should be about bringing people together that have similar interests.
Smh @ ignorance and internet thugs..I agree with “the white kid in the suburbs”..you do not have to fit into a certain social box or live somewhere to listen to hip-hop..an your incorrect to say hip hop wasn’t made for his ppl? There were a lot of caucasians that have contributed an pioneered hip hop (beastie boys,3rd bass)..not to mention one of the best to ever do it was white(eminem) so your entire argument is a mix of ignorance, racism, and just plain boredom..anyone whether hood, poor, rich, upperclass, can listen to an have an opinion on whatever they please, bc hip hop was not created for those in “the hood”, it was created to make ppl feel good and have a good time, but over time it has been so saturated with negativity an ppl lose sight of its original purpose and then you have those that rip others opinions like their opinion is superior..well its not..so man listen to what you want an overlook those internet thugs who try an tell others what’s what’s in hip-hop..because hip-hop is about the people and about unity..
Sorry, but the your so called “best MC to ever do it had” (who clearly is nothing without dr dre. my grandmother can rap over a docter dre beat and she would be considered the goat) to be surrounded by afro americans.
it got turned to a racial battle cause 1 person just cant accept that hiphop has progressed pass skin color and wantes to make it a racial thing instead of an mc thing which in my opinion is as stupid as him sayin joell is a sell out but this is a blogspot every1 has thier opinion some suck some dont but to turn it into sumthin racial is just straight ignorance and racist in its own self
YO WU-TANG MILF HUNTER, YOU ACT LIKE METH N’ RED DON’T WANT LOVE FROM THE SUBURBS…THEY TARGET THE SUBURBS WITH THEIR MOVIES/TV SHOWS AND LOOK HOW WATERED DOWN THEIR MUSIC GOT…COMPARE BLACKOUT 2 TO THE ORIGINAL…DONT GET ME WRONG, I LOVE THE WU, I LOVE RED, BUT YOU’RE BEING IGNORANT TRYING TO BANG ON THE NET…AND YOU WONDER WHY “CAUCYS” LOOK DOWN ON YOU..YOU WANNA BRAG ABOUT BEING FROM THE PROJECTS, GOOD FOR YOU…AS FOR ME, I’M OUT IN LA, AND WE BUMP CROOKED I OUT HERE ALL DAY, ALONG WITH PAC, BD KANE, PETE ROCK, BIG L ETC…I’M NOT WHITE BTW, BUT WHY YOU BLAMING WHITES FOR RUINING HIP HOP? AS FAR AS I KNOW, EM AND ASHER ARE THE ONLY WHITE RAPPERS MAKING NOISE…THE REST OF THESE CORNY ASS RAPPERS ARE BLACK AND FROM THE HOOD JUST LIKE YOU CLAIM….GTFOH.
