I guarantee this will get more than a few heads jabbering on about this in the c-section. My opinion? An album cover and lineup doesn’t mean shit unless the execution is perfectly performed. Anyway I didn’t like “Success” off of American Gangster but “Black Republicans” and “I Do it for Hip-Hop” were straight. I hope they don’t fuck this one up. And what’s up with people wanting this to be the second coming of the original Blueprint. It’s like going to to see a movie sequel expecting to see the same plot all over again. ARE YOU NIGGAS STUPID!!!!
WHY ARE PEOPLE SURPRISED TO SEE KANYE ON MOST OF THE PRODUCTION???
JAY-Z SAID THAT SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE WANTED DA ALBUM TO BE MAINLY PRODUCED BY KANYE.
He stated several times that he wanted to take it back to how he did the 1st Blueprint album, with the soulful vibe he had on it!
It’s been noted and stated for several months since last year when he dropped “Jockin Jay-Z” and “History” that he was gonna just used Kanye fot the album. He then budged a bit and said he might use a few other people but only in the taste of the sound him and Kanye are building with No I.D. who is also helping production on the Blueprint 3!!
Stop complaining and do ya homeworks niggas! What da fuck! Pat ya wet pussies dry and move on, stop bitching!

No i.d said we were doing blueprint 3 when we did heartless…this album is like 808 but more hip-hop and it gonna be a full-fledged classic. 90% of hip-hip is something someone else did. Jay-z never took this long on a album so I’m going with blueprint 3 as a classic. This tracklist is not a 100% because he is not done recording for the album. So stop cry about who is on the album and who is not.
oatz said this on August 3rd, 2009 at 1:12 pm
is this really a suprise though. like “Real” said. jay and kanye have mention that the was going to produce the whole thing. maybe have a different one here or there if it fit the sound and i guess the beat timbo did fit that sound. im not gonna complain until i hear what they did. maybe just blaze, neptunes, bink, ect. just didnt fit the vibe for this one. whats the one thing a lot of fans ask for. cohesiveness. everybody wanna complain bout havin 15 producers on the album. this only have 3 and yall still lose it…i just hope the album is good. thats it

Keep the racism off the boards, Jay is obviously taking the blueprint in a different direction with some of the features, but you can’t judge the quality on the basis of a cover and a tracklist. Too many people who listen to hip-hop are too nostalgic what you want him to make a carbon copy of the first blueprint. Plus you should take account of his age you seriously want to listen to a grown man talking about drugs and the hood lifestyle, Raekwon is an exception. Rant over and fuck racism, 1!

- great album cover
-hopefully this isnt the final tracklist since its a bit short and hes been working on it for ages now
- …but its still pretty gd…so wat if j.cole isnt on it its jays album, u want jcole wait for his album, i think jay noes wats hes doing by now in regards to crafting an album that MOST people would like, and also generate sales.
- best lookn track is nas one, hopefully its as gd as black republican that was craaaazy.
- also wanted an eminem feature, who wudnt, but i guess itl happen on relapse two ( and jays didnt get killd on renegade ,imo it was a tie, but if u wanna say eminem was better , fine, just dont say he killed him, cuz the stuff jay said was amazing, regardless, and cudnt have been “killed” even if eminem was better.

That’s a dope cover (besides the fact there’s no blue what-so-ever on a BLUEPRINT album lol). The tracklist looks promising (No I.D. and Kanye on every track is a real upside). As for the features, I’m glad he got Nas, I’m glad he didn’t go the Busta Rhymes or Jadakiss route and get a bunch of (/waay too many) garbage trendy ass rappers. Both ‘D.O.A’ and ‘Run this Town’ are SICK, so…yeah…I’m pretty damn excited.

as for the features: i’m not too excited about the two mr. hudson songs, drake and rhianna, but they probably only do choruses and it won’t be that bad. on the other hand: no memphis bleek, no beanie sigel, etc. is definitely good news. i like nas and kid cudi, but their features don’t always keep promise.

Sir said this on August 4th, 2009 at 10:02 am
Y’all niggas ain’t listen to Fab shit. I could tell cuz you just looked at the tracklisting and judged the title as slow jams!
For ex. 14. “Lullaby”, 15. “Stay” feat. Marsha Ambrosius, 16. “I Miss My Love”
I don’t know what a few of you niggas talkin bout with Fab album!!! I listened to that shit twice and that shit is one of the hardest albums I heard this yr! And the 1st 4 tracks are not auto-tune! My Time is auto-tune out of the 1st 4!
I’mma Dot It is not auto-tune, Kobe voice was in speaker aka walkie-talkie and the song when Fab was using melodies was him following the sample that was singing!
I agree that he had like 5 r&b club joints but lets be real those shits were fucking hot as hell. To be real one of the so called “Sloe songs” was a life song on some street shit, family shit etc. Not to mention if you add up all the uptempo tracks or street tracks it actually evens out and if you count the bonus tracks he has more street songs on the album!!!
Y’all niggas need to stop listening to niggas and make your own opinion like I did!! Stop following niggas who hating with no cause!!!! I thought it was gonna be ok at best the album is good! Y’all niggas need to stop talking shit before you even hear something (All artists)!!! How you have an opinion without listening
I swear some of you people call ya self hip-hop fans but yet everything you hear (key word hear and not listen) you shit on it! Y’all the same niggas that expect people to like the same shit you listen to! Contradicting ass niggas!!!!!
13 street songs (including the 3 bonus songs):
1. “The Way (Intro)”
2. “My Time”
3. “Imma Do It”
4. “Feel Like I’m Back”
8. “Salute”
9. “There He Go”
13. “Pachanga”
14. “Lullaby”
15. “Stay”
16. “I Miss My Love”
6 Slow joints:
7.”Money Goes, Honey Stay” feat. Jay-Z [If you consider it a slow]
5. “Everything, Everyday, Everywhere” feat. Keri Hilson
6. “Throw It in the Bag” feat. The-Dream
10. The Fabolous Life” feat. Ryan Leslie
11. “Makin’ Love” feat. Ne-Yo
12. “Last Time” feat. Trey Songz

This comment section really brings out those who appreciate music, those who appreciate hip hop, and those who just listen to the fads.
The cover is beautiful and I hope it translates to the SOUND of the album.

damn. Jay-Z was supposed to retire like 3 albums (and 500 mixtapes) ago…lol. Its all good. Im feeling this artwork it represents the new breed of music he’s bringing but still familiar. Still Jay.

Jay’s black album……………… The game’s red album
the game has said in the past that he raps because of b.i.g, 2pac,easy,nas and jay-z. He is just mad that jay-z will not made a song with him. Blueprint 3 is a classic.

People find a way to not like a talented artist like Drake but the people they like in return (newcomers in particular like Drake) are all laughable because in most cases Drake makes better music then them.
It’s funny how people are such big supporters of underground artists and when they make it or get that break the 1st 2 things said is “his changing/selling out/going commercial” or “his overatted”
Do your self a favor when you dislike someone make sure and have an actual reason why instead of judging by popularity or 1 or 2 songs! LISTEN and not HEAR please!

the reason why jay didnt do a track with andre 3000 is because andre would murk his ass on it by just breathing in the studio.
all in all…the album looks promising. to the people saying its classic…hahaha wooow. but yeah it looks legit…i like that he sticking to primarily one producer…thats always the best way to go. i am a little nervous about the mr. hudson appearances though. i like hudson and some of his stuff…but i dont think him and jay go well together. i hope jay gets some soulful samples from ye and stays away from the pop stuff…b/c jay can’t pull that off

Yall are absolutely nutty if you want Jockin Jay Z, Swagger like Us, Brooklyn go Hard, or ‘Aint I’ on this album.
Those are decnt songs, but not for an album, not 4 real jay fans, or shall i say folk that ‘like to listen like that’. That aint the Jay Z i want. Those r play around songs, no thanks.
Those songs are proof that Kanye has fallen wayyyy off beatwise. Compare those beats to ‘Guess Who’s Back’, Cant be Life, etc.
Those bubble gum, lazy sample songs. Sampling MIA, Lady Gaga, and Rev Run is not hot.

Andre 3000 has said that Jay-z is the best rapper in the game. Give me Andre 3000′s top 5 verse and i will give u 20 of jay-z that r betta. Andre murking Jay-z on a track is like Lil Wayne murking rakim. Haha

Andre 3000 is waaayyyy over rated!!! All the great mc’s that went and you mean to tell me Andre 3000 enters your mind!
Andre 3000 after ATLiens aka “before the name change from Dre to Andre 300″ aka “before Erika Badu fuckery” aka before Aquemini he was on his way. He was still good but not as potent! Due is a soulful mc that never advanced from that point just a bunch a potential! It’s also obvious he’s not into rap! Dude rather sing or act or just dress weird who knows.
Stop the overrating this nigga stop it Jesus! Most of y’all niggas can’t even remember 5 verses from him off top without doing an online search or pressing play to an album!
Keep in mind I was a huge Andre fan from SouthernPlayaListic days and after ATLiens so I could go on for days on good rhymes from him like Babylon, Jazze Bell, Elevators, SouthernPlayaListic Caddalac Music!
