i dont buy into the whole big and pac are the best rappers ever shit. i think they regarded that way cuz they were killed at the pinnacle of their careers so they never had a chance “fall off” or get any worse. i think people rate them on what they would have been instead of what they were. in they’re minds they prolly think that every album they make will be at the same level as All Eyes On Me and Ready to Die, which is unfair to other artists who would be considered top 5. imagine if all you’ve ever heard from nas and em was illmatic and marshal mathers lp before getting murdered. when u think like that biggie and pac dont really seem like best rappers anymore, for me they more like 5 and 6
