It really wouldve been better to just postpone the release another day or so to finish mixing (I mix myself, too. I know it can be frustrating to get everything the way you want it to be) . The ends would justify the means. If people cant wait slightly longer for a completed project, then they really need to get out more.

there are different levels of a music scene (not speaking on the actual music)..quest is proving that he can develop a following..this tape may push him to the next level and break him out of the underground, or at the least begin the journey. be a shame if it didn’t, i can tell he put a lot of work into this, (promo, music, etc) and it seems like a lot of people have been paying attention
i wouldn’t be surprised if he signed to a big label before year’s end..

QuESt is fuckin nice with the lyrics, but kinda have to agree with people on the Drake similarities. The song “Piece” has a very similar vibe to “Houstatlantavegas”, especially the beat, and their deliveries are kinda similar, like how they emphasize words by dragging them out, as well as the numerous sung hooks. The tape/album is still dope as hell tho, but I can’t stand people flipping shits saying how QuESt and Drake sound NOTHING alike, when there are definite similarities.

honestly I myself hyped this shit up too much. BH is a cool tape but not top 5 at all. Quest is still young so his shit will only get better and I loved how he got at JD and Q the kid on that “nothing’s real” track. besides that I feel that I’m trying to make myself like BH when I really don’t. some good songs on here but some wack ones as well.
This mixtape was INSANELY dope. Still On repeat. Like I honestly relate with him on almost EVERY single track on this tape.

I hate that everyone has to compare the next new artist who gets exposure to Drake. Its mad ignorant. QuESt has been singing and rapping forever. And in all honesty i dont see the hype around drake anyway. dudes a fraud in my eyes. QuESt kept it real through out this whole tape and I can respect that. Shit beats anything Drake or anyone has done this year in my opinion.

I peeped Comeback season and its nothing I havent heard before. Lupes Farenheit tapes were greater than comeback. Drakes best effort was so far gone. Cohesively his best effort. Comeback was shit ive heard before from any other artist with a decent delivery and a decent punchline game. random swagged out freestyles. thats all.
I like about 10 of the 16 actual tracks, which makes this a good mixtape, but defenitely not a classic. 4/5

I never said he didnt have any substance at all. But for the majority of the tape he wasnt talking about anything too relevant to the point where I felt a connection with his music. and as far as bringing lupe up, im just stating an opinion.
QuESt had subject matter and meaning in every song on this tape in my opinion, and that beats any drake tape. So far gone, like i said, was his best effort, and youre right, the fact that I dont like his music may make my judgement a little biased. But thats my opinion.
Im actually just tired of all the Drake Comparisons. Its like rappers cant even do music anymore without being compared to Drake. Like ANYBODY was giving a fuck about who he was till So Far Gone Dropped. HONESTLY. and Quest doesnt sound shit like Drake. Just keeping it real.
Content wise Drake appeals in my opinion to his peers in the music industry the most. Like Drake in So far gone talked about issues that Regular people couldnt relate to, but could understand, and become infactuated with. His image is most appealing. QuESts tape really was alot more universal. Tracks like Be A Man for myself, and One time like bring me back to places I NEVER thought I’d revisit. Just saying.
And the ONLY tracks I could relate to from Drake were off So Far Gone.
quest is cool but some of the hooks in BH were not good at all. sometimes half of the song was singing the same chorus over and no bars at all. that is what kind of turned me off to the tape after I kept listening to it.
and sorry quest but this shit is not top 5, maybe not even top 10

I downloaded this yesterday and its my first time hearing dude but this tape is DOPE…period. Some people think he’s a Kanye/Drake clone but the content of his songs are much different in my opinion. The production on this mixtape is epic IMO too. I like the way he switches up the beat on “She’s Wrong” and “One Night Out” beat is classic IMO. Even though haven’t heard anything from him before this tape I’m glad I downloaded this one cuz you can tell he put a lot a work into it to make it as Dope as it is. QuESt you have now gained a new fan. Keep grindin my dude.
Listening to this i dont see what all the hype is about. And im not hating on dude, he got flow. BUT, he aint like “OMG SON YOU GOTTA PEEP THIS DUDE HE FIRE.” type in my opinion. He’s a lot better than a lot of dudes out there though, props.
