Before I get into this, I have to apologize for my absence. I didn’t have access to the internet for the last few. Which came at a good/bad time as I’ve been going through a few personal issues and needed the short break. Shouts to Meka for holding it down. Aight… enough sappy shit. We gave you the Slaughterhouse album snippets below, now we’ve got the snippets for Joe Budden’s upcoming digital EP that drops next Tuesday on AmalgamDigital. Unlike the CDQ/30sec snippets in the Slaughterhouse post, this is recorded from JBTV and features live commentary and jibber jabber from Joey and others. You can still get an idea of what to expect.

  14. Heres my take on Joe Budden.

    Definitely not a hater but ever since MM3 and Halfway House which was one of the dopest mixtapes/cds whatever you wanna call it, Joey seems to have been slippin a little bit. He’s always there lyrically but with the beat selection on Padded room and when he records with slaughterhouse he seems like he isn’t hungry and he raps about nothing.

    That being said you can already here it in these snippets that what he is rapping about is stuff personal to him, which is when he is at his best. On top of that even though the quality is bad the beats sound epically awesome.

    Joey is back on that shit!
