i agree that drake is (or was) a great opinion, buh the problem i have wid him and that he’s swapping in true lyrics for mainstream bs . j cole, like a lot of DOPE artists that get no air time, will refuse to downplay his lyrics just to get a couple wack spins . i respect j cole for his talent, buh more so for his love of hip hop — PERIOD .

plus, the warm up shxds on just about every drake mixtape that he’s come out wid since the BEGINNING, which wasn’t last summer for those of you who think so .

ya’ niggaz is d1ck riders hard body! straight up, everyone says either Drake or J.cole suck.. they both nice, why u think they got signed? Drake is better than u think, u gotta understand the lines he says. sum of u are too slow maybe… J. Cole gives you that deep music, so every one can relate to it, and he doesnt have to dumb it down. They different in style AND content, so to say one is wack is just plain haterism at its worst.

im a fan of both drake and j cole. The reason people are high on j cole right now is because he’s still considered “underground” while drake has made it to the mainstream. People were saying the same things about drake before he blew up. You can’t tell me that drake only makes pop records. Go listen to his older mixtape stuff and look at the lyrical content he has there. Once j cole goes mainstream everyone will begin saying the same things about him and find some new underground artist to praise.

J. Cole is better than Drake pound for pound. Drake knows how to make pop hits. He’s got punchlines, but being a hip hop artists is far more than that. Thats why hip hop head will ride with J. Cole. Dude has concepts, delivery, wordplay, and substance in his tracks. You can hear the hunger in his voice.
