^ #1 Before you talk shit maybe you should read the whole damn conversation.

#2 though ive repeatedly said that I like XV, what you’re saying is that anyone who doesnt like XV or think the way you do is a faggot?

#2b If the above is correct, are you really insisting that you are in an authoritative and educated position that gives you the power to make such staements. If so, you are as ridiculous as XV saying that he deserves a Grammy.

#3 To stupid to comprehend the lyrics? I truly shouldn’t even address this ridiculous statement but as a person with a bachelor’s degree and pursuing a master’s, I guarantee that I possess sufficient knowledge and intellect to process XV’s lyrics or anyone else’s lyrics for that matter.

I am a child of hip hop and I’m sorry that I insist that the artform prosper and continue to grow instead of accepting mediocrity in lyrics. We are moving past the point of radio hits driven by beats from X producer. We are moving into an area similar to the late 80s and early 90s where anyone could rap and lots of new faces were emerging. The ones that lasted and the ones who had an impact on culture were the ones who made sense of their lyrics and still conveyed their messages in a sonically pleasing manner.

Its unfortunate, and i apologize, to the ass hat who posted above this and anyone else who is for whatever reason offended by my statements. You douchebags are attempting to persecute the one person who has come on this blog (in the comment section: no shots Shake/Meka) and actually made you think.

Do yourself a favor and instead of talking shit about whoever, attempt to break the mold that the music industry has set you in and actually DIG for music that you can relate to every word of. Until then you’re just a statistic, after that point you will be a changed person that will be ready to change another life, whether it be positive or negative that is up to you.
