Nas x DJ Khalil (Video)

This is actual footage of Gnozhir and Khalil working on what would have been “Colors” off Nigger Untitled. Methinks they should have left that track on the album.

  6. this shit’s amazing.

  7. should have been on untitled

  8. Basically, hes just calling white people racist and it had autotune.

    fuck him.

  10. Yo, I visit this site daily and I’m a Nas fanatic as any hip-hop head is. So much so that it trully bothers me that when you guys post on your site about him you spell his name Gnozir or whatever. There are countless rappers and MCs in the game and very few of them are untouchable. Meaning, if youre gonna post about Nas, Jay, KRS-1, Rakim, and others in the same league at least be respectful enough to use their names. They’ve earned the right to not be ridiculed for the work they’ve put into the game. I understand that calling him Gnozir may get a few laughs or hits on your site but please do things like that at the expense of other rappers cuz God knows theres a whole lot of wack ones. Leave the legends alone. Nasir Jones (Greatest Of All Time).

  11. we need a lost tapes vol.2 now

  12. co-sign on the Gnozir thing.its not even funny.if you dont like a rapper dont ridicule him.why hate for no reason

on the topic the song sounds gd.is there an mp3 anyone

  13. queenz, stop being a bitch
not like he instulted the man’s music. I’m as big a nas fan as anyone but damn. hop off his nuts

  14. oh and this track is fuckin fire. they need to up the audio asap. can’t believe nas didnt use this. he keeps the shitty beats and throws away the good shit. smh

  15. just listened to it afew times over.im dyin for this track.beats amazing, lyrics are to and he stays on topic well.sounds like a classic nas song.hopefully he has a lost tapes type disc in the makin

i wouldnt say he had shitty beats on untitled, the way the slave and the master changes is amazing and i love on america how the 3rd verse switches up but i do agree this sounds like it could have been one of the best songs on it had it been

  16. hahahaha. queenz- thats the stupidest sh** ive ever heard, get over it.

  17. Gnozhir doesnt sound like a shot at anything. people stay looking for drama. next your gonna say the font is homophobic

  18. couldve been the 2nd single easy

  19. @ queenz
    it’s not that serious, b.

  20. lololol at queenz… i guess you pray to nas before you go to sleep too?

  21. sad that nas can pick better dj khalil beats then slaughterhouse…. yes i said it

  22. this guy^^^ its sad that someones opinion can be misconstrued as a shot.

  23. gone private…

  24. maybe not. that was strange.

  25. che didnt really listen apparantly. he just typed something he thought would be shocking or offensive. geeky faggot
    ………………

No, I did listen to the song and if anyone is white from the 60s or the timt before that, is a racist according to Nas. I think your the one who should go back and listen to it. And I wont end my paragrapgh with an insult cos it just makes you look ignorent yourself.

  26. I didn’t mean to come across overly sensitive about it and i agree its not that serious but at the same time I just don’t get the point of calling him “Gnohzir”. Maybe one you guys can just tell me if its not a little condescending if nothing else? If it is, the point I’m trying to make is that hip hop legends who paid their dues in the game should be exempt from cheap shots. If dude criticized the song that would be fine but calling the Nas “Gnohzir” every trip is wack. It’s like Jay said one time in an interview when Cam and dip set was going at him hard, Hip-Hop should have a board that sets rules cause niggas like Cam and Dip Set haven’t earned the right to go at Jay. Same goes for Game. So whether its corny rappers, bloggers, writers, or whoever need to show more respect for the greats and save the funny shit for the niggas that haven’t earned the title of legend.

  27. To Che, maybe you should listen to Nas’s lyrics one more time on the song carefully. Nothing he said was racist, in fact he’s just saying that the younger generation can help in getting rid of racism by talking and discussing our SIMILARITIES as well as our differences. AND there was no autotune on that song. Stop being ignorant.

  28. First off, it’s the internet.
Every rapper to ever do it is gonna get ridiculed one way or another.
The Gnauze shit is the equivalent of the Jay-Z/Camel shit.
    Second of all…
    “It’s only entertainment”

  29. Che, Nas was drawing a contrast between a mixed kid’s white grandmother who was “educated in schools that were segregated”, “MAYBE she was racist” and his or her black grandmother who uses “slang to say shit” likely due to being deprived of a proper education. Its hypothetical and to drive the point home he uses two extremes but in no way is he saying that ALL white women in those days went to segregated schools and were racists but we do know that all schools at one point were segregated in the south. Nor does he believe that ALL black women were poorly educated and speak using slang but once upon a time ALL black women were deprived of education. The point is that the product of these two extremes is our generation who have the power to educate (“school them on some TODAY shit”) the ones who came before us of how ridiculous racism is. Hopefully that clarifies things a bit for you.

  30. exactly che, the song wasnt racist at all, it spoke on both sides of the coin. you really didnt listen and you should, because it sounds better than everything else of untitled. and where the fuck did you hear auto-tune?

anyway, does anyone have this song?

  31. I feel you bee, that camel shit is wack too. I’m not one of those one sided Nas fans, All I’m saying is show the legends the respect they deserve. If Nas and Jay went out like BIG and Pac tomorrow, do you think bloggers and writers would still call them Camel and whatever else? I doubt it. At the end of the day hip hop fans need to hold their legends at a higher regard like rock & roll fans back then held Elvis and The Beatles. Unfortunately the fans of our genre of music wait for their artists to die before they pay homage, cuz its not “entertainment” when you do it when they’re alive.

  32. Some ask why?, I ask why not release this Nas & DJ Khalil? Flood the streets of new york with descent, inspirational, listenable to music.

  33. I see what you’re getting at.
But you’re forgetting that that was back then.
Whether it’s BIG and Pac or Elvis and The Beatles.
    This is NOW…the digital era.
Which has given birth to a generation who frequent to NahRight, SOHH, etc.
And half of their conversations are comprised of how Nas lost.
I doubt they give a damn about giving MC So-and-So his respect.
I swear if the internet was invented way back when…
    You’d be reading shit like:
What kind of homo ass name is Marvin GAYe?!

  34. Damn bee, that’s sad but true.

  35. This track is fire. The end.

  36. Cmon Meka, we need a cdq. I know you can find one,

  37. You might wanna do what Marlo says, Meka. Before Snoop and Chris find their way to your home.

  38. HA

  39. Dope dope dope. CDQ naow plz…

  40. I’ve never heard a hip hop song about mixed race, this sounded like a really interesting song. If anyone can get the CDQ it’s the 2dopeboyz…

  41. Gosh I WANT THIS SONG…I’m a die-hard Nas fan, the most inspiring rapper I know but the man needs an advisor, a manager, I don’t know. He’s not fully aware of what can be a hit, what sounds good, what most emphasizes his talent, his words, his flow…damn, he could be so much bigger. smh Since God’s Son, imo, he hasn’t been able to release an unquestionably excellent album.

  42. Wow I can’t believe what I’m reading! Untitled and HHID are classics!!! I must have the same ear as Nas or something cuz to me the beats were fire! Street’s Disciple and God’s Son had subpar beats but not his last 2 LP’s. This song is great and should’ve been on the album, but an album is only so long, What It Is should’ve been on the album too but at the expense of what songs? Make the World Go Round is one that could’ve been cut, and We’re Not Alone, other than that the rest was fucking dope as hell. What he should’ve did was release a bonus disc like he did with God’s Son, with this track, What It Is, Like Me, Fear of Mandingo, and Association ft. Dead Prez. WE NEED A CDQ OF THIS ASAP!!!

  43. I don’t think we’re getting cdq/full version. This saddens me. I’m bout to call up Snoop and order a hit.

  44. shake/meka will this ever leak?

  45. omfg! thats was some of the sickest shit ive ever heearrd, i waaas bloown away, he got release it!

  46. where the fuck is this song

  47. meka, whats the deal with this song, did a full/cdq ever drop?

  48. bump

  49. bump again

  50. will this song ever drop?
