I thought Nas had the thrid best performance of the night and that was really because AZ came out with him. Overall the show was pretty lackluster. How do you have MOP, Buckshot, Slum Village, Raekwon & RZA on the second stage and The Knux, Charli 2na, and tech nine on the main stage!!!!!!! Also the Roots performance was pretty languid…
your out of your shit. I went to a Nas concert in Chicago when HHID dropped and it was one of the best i’ve been to. But pass along your dealers number cause I gotta get some of that shit your smoking.
y’all are blinded. Nas is one of the top 5 rappers of all time with probably the worst stage show (with Jay being second). He’s terribly boring. The only bright spot is his music.
Nas’ performance isn’t bad at all. I’ve saw his LIVE TV performances where he really goes in with the whole band ish and stuff (Can’t Forget About Us) on Letterman (I think…it may have been Conan).
Sometime you don’t need all the elements, especially at a raw, pure hip hop fest like Rock The Bells. He stills have some like instruments up there anyways though. His classics and vocal presence makes up for the lack of whatever you guys are saying is not there.

YEA, dude is right. These guys are legends and you give main stage time to The Knux, come on, man. Slaughterhouse killed it! Rae and Buckshot were sick too. Slum Village was ehhh. My favs of the night were Reflection and Nas!
Nas isn’t a great performer by any means. But his music is dope enough, and he picks great setlists, so it’s enjoyable. He’s my favourite rapper of all time, and I was surprised as hell to leave a Nas show having heard every song you could reasonably expect to hear. He does a great mix of the best shit from his entire career. Obviously you won’t get any of the dope-ass unreleased shit (“Serious”, “Good Morning”, “Silent Murder”, etc.) but he really does the right songs.

ugh. I want to go to the one in NY.
Wonder If I can make my dad take me. He’d might want to go.
Yeah, Nasir’s performances aren’t always the most, eccentric, but it’s whatever.

have you seen it? son, his stage presence is a sleeping pill without a live band backing him. great music + walking back & forth != great show.

NAS please bring AZ to the show in Calgary too!… then 3 of my top 5 rappers of all time would be going
