I don’t even know where to start on this. Most of y’all really need to keep quiet on the basketball matters. A couple quick points…they’re both great players, Lebron IS NOT a “great” shooter as one of u idiots above stated, &, as of right now, comparing their careers is a moot point due to the age difference. If we’re making “all-time great” lists, Lebron isn’t really there yet cuz he’s only 24 or whatever (that’s like another 2 or 3 years until he even reaches his prime, which, granted, is scary). Also, keep in mind that the pinnacle of one’s physical prime doesn’t necessarily equate to the pinnacle of one’s basketball prowess. Jordan was better in many ways well after his prime (which is generally considered 27-32 for males), so don’t hold that against Kobe either. Some of HIS best years could still be left to come.

Man if Lebron had the talent Kobe had this year the Cavaliers might have not lost a game in the playoffs. Who cares about a tape that Nike took. Players get dunked on all the time. I see how Lebron is confident and arrogant, but he is not a cocky bitch like Kobe.

the entire kobe vs. lebron argument is irrelevant now, kobe has been in the league for way longer. i understand people like one or the other. but how are you going to say kobe>lebron when one has been there 2x longer and neither are finished yet

when they both are retired and finished, that will be the time to debate

right now lebron of course is better than kobe…he has the physical talent that kobe no longer possesses at the age of 31ish.

that said…what’s going to happen to lebron when HE begins aging and can’t rely on his athleticism? i dont know if he has the work ethic and brains to develop the offensive arsenal kobe now has. kobe doesn’t need to blow past people to take over a game. he has a deadly midrange jumper, a postgame, and all sorts of ways to score around the basket. if lebron doesn’t develop that sort of game now…his “reign on the top is shorter than leprechauns”
