You guys are slacking on your Dro & L.A. drops — there’s also “Everything White”, “Dear Mr. Futuristic”, “Taser Gun” (L.A.’s new SINGLE produced by Jim Jonsin), etc.

Dro & L.A. have mad songs together, not just on the Black Boy, White Boy mixtape, either. More are coming, too…they both have solo’s on the way and Dro appears on five of 17 tracks on L.A.’s

What you have to understand is the difference between “Ain’t I” and “Don’t Know Ya’ll”. Dro & L.A. make two kinds of music: hip-hop music (L.A.’s Gangsta Grillz, Dro’s I Am Legend & Best Thang Smoking) and that futuristic swag music like this and the Black Boy, White Boy mixtape. It may not be for you, but I personally think it’s really fun music with great melodies. A lot of gorgeous beats with orchestras and synthesizer elements thrown in. Chord progression. Real music, actually unique and not vapid like Gucci Mane or Soulja Boy.

May not be your thing, but deal with it! Dro the rapper and L.A. the rapper are never going away, they like to switch hats. Expect Dro and L.A.’s upcoming albums to have a nice balance of both. Let’s not discredit Dro as one of the best emcees of our time, either. He MURDERED that “Top Back” remix, too.
