Last night, I came home to this lovely surprise. Slug & Ant released another free EP for their fans! And I would’ve posted then and there but Rhymesayers’ site was in overload and it was going in and out. So here you go, 7 brand new tracks from one of my favorite groups in hip hop.

hello party people. as we approach the launch of our new digital online store anthony and myself have put together another project that we are giving away for free to any of you who sign up for a user account on our online store www.FifthElementOnline.com. the project is a 7 song ep called LEAK AT WILL, and it was a lot of fun to make. nothing too serious, just smiles and cries. consider it another “thank you” for all of the support you have offered us over the years. and again, thank you very much. have a good summer. see you later player.

  31. Thanks, this is really dope. I’ve never been a big fan but this is about the best stuff I’ve heard from them. Slug’s always dope but Ant’s production was never anything special to me but he’s gettin’ pretty good lately.

    Your opinion. Nothing against Ant but I can name at least 20 producers right off the top of my head that are way better than Ant. Again, that’s just my opinion. We all have different tastes. I’d be glad to give u my list. I love this kinda stuff!

Premier, Dilla, Pete Rock, Vitamin D, Jake One, Illmind, S-1, DJ Khalil, Hi-Tek, Neptunes, Andre Harris & Vidal Davis, Kev Brown, Black Milk, Young RJ, Just Blaze, Kanye, DJ Spinna, The Are, Organized Noize, Sa-Ra, Showbiz, Diamond D, Madlib, Oh No, The Alchemist, Dr.Dre, 9th Wonder, Jazzy Jeff, Will.I.Am, Large Professor, Battlecat, DJ Quik…I put more than 20 since alot of these would be considered “apples & oranges” when comparing to Ant but it is all hip-hop. I could think of at least another 20 that I personally like better than Ant, if anybody wants to hear it. Again, it’s nothing against Ant but there’s alot of great cats out there for all kinds of different tastes.

    definitely been a fan of atmosphere, ever since Overcast!(one of the best hip hop albums ever released)..and it helps that i’m minneapolis born and raised with front row seats to a lot of atmosphere goodieness :)

  41. The site was slow, but as someone said – its the server not being ready for this. Now the Ant: I wasnt fan of Atmos at all just because i dint know them. Then I heard When life gives you lemon and i really liked the album – but left it after some time (I was thinking same about Ants producing & didnt understand verses well). Then come back to it after some time and I heard all those lyrics, and found Ants production just perfect for it. Nothing complicated but very precise ant Atmospheric for those lyrics. He definetly got the props. WRKB (Czech yo)

  44. I met Slug once at an album signing. I asked him if he’d just sign Seven’s Travels and make my life. He said sure, then shook my hand and said thanks for all of the support. Then I talked to Brother Ali for damn near five minutes while people stood in line. Rhymesayers is some of the best guys I’ve had the pleasure to meet. POS on tuesday at warped tour. Hopefully he’ll sign the copies of never better I have for my girlfriend and I.

  50. Not my favorite Atmosphere work, but it’s fuckin free so i won’t complain. Slug’s story telling really comes out so strong in Millie Fell Off The Fire Escape and Mothers Day. If you like songs like The Waitress, Hair, Like Today, and such (Which I do) you’re gonna love the back end of this EP
