Folks that frequent the dopehouse, know I’m a fan of Songz. So any and all new/old material will get some sort of light on the site. And with that said, in anticipation of his third studio album (Ready) we get a brand new mixtape.
The creation of ANTICIPATION began after I presented READY to my label the first time. I just started recording on my days off and the music felt great and decided that I’d rather share the music than let it sit and be idle. This is music without politics, without creative boundaries.

This should be hot. This boy is dope with the melodies, concepts, hooks and beat selection. I wish eh got more recognition but ya can’t complain he’s still somewhat successful.

just listened to the whole thing while about an hour ago and i’m completely taken by the quality of this tape. If this is the throwaway shit i can only imagine what the album will sound like. I’m a big Trey fan and was kinda let down by the last album but Ready is looking like its gonna be a great album. Songz def deserves more shine than he’s gotten over the years.
