Obviously you didnt understand the times. this show was done weeks ahead of time before any rehersals and they had to make a HUGE overhaul b/c of MJ’s death on Thursday. They had 3 days to make changes. Was it a good award show? I would say no but its not there fault and its not MJs fault either. MJ passing was unexpected and everyone wanted to show there respect. I understand this show looked like a high school play being put together at the last minute but it was only right to try to show respect to a musical genius and one of the greatest musicians of all time. I definetly think that Young Money was very disrespectful in performing this song because IMO, this isnt a song you perform on a live television cable network. And bringing out children and cussing your mouth off on live television was embarassing. But we cant rewind the entire show and stop this performance from happening. I do in some way fault BET for letting this performance happen on an emotional night but theres nothing we can do. Other than the YM performance, I think they showed respect for MJ as best they could in 3 days of time.

First of all the Award Show had to be one of THE best Award shows BET had period.
Second I can’t lie the Drake performance was not good. The 1st set when he did “Best I Ever Had” was good but the “Every Girl” & “Always Strapped” Young Money infiltration was horrible.
It kinda spoiled the consistency we got from watching the shot. That performance was one of the very, very, very, very few gliches in the Awards.
I like “Every Girl” but that’ not a song you perform on TV for all the sexual explicit references, cursing and excessive auto-tune (1 of the very few songs that sound good with auto-tune. It gets a pass).
I think Drake should have mentioned he can’t walk much. Instead of having the most of the world who have no idea think he was that boring and stupid to sit and watch from a chair through out the whole performance.
