Jonathan Mannion On Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne & Jay-Z (Video)

True story: last year at my old job I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan (and I even interviewed him over at the plantation as well). Home slice was extremely down-to-earth and humble, and he even gave me an autographed portrait of one of his most known shots. That, my loyal visitors, is what you need (alongside other traits) to make it in this world. Anyways, Mannion has recently opened a 3-week exhibition at the Milk Gallery in New York City (which I will be attending once I’m out there), and he sat down to speak on how Shawn brought out that infamous blue Bentley for his Hard Knock Life album shoot. Down bottom he speaks on B.I.G. shutting down the Hollywood Palladium. SHAKE UPDATE: Added a clip of him talking about Lil Wayne’s Rebirth artwork.

  1. Dope!!!

  2. I’d like to hear more of these stories. You can tell he’s honestly grateful to have experienced all of these moments, and his stories are told like a movie.

  3. Maaaan! You better respect my Accord! LOL

Yeah. good eye. Hmm. thats a very small thing that could easily be explained by a million reason. but then again…everyone else got pointed out very normally. hmm

  6. I’m gona go out on a limb here and say i am excited about this album.. i bought the last one in the 1st week it was a solid album.. i wouldn’t say he is the “best rapper alive” not close but he is in the top 5-10 creatively and whetehr you follow the “haters” or follow the “biggest” fans you gotta respect dude.. he came from nothing and now he’s a multi million franchise. your not just buying albums or sneakers anymore your buying the names behind them.. and i’m sure his artist like drake, and tyga will eventually take his spot seeing as there position compared to where he was at their time.. anyway i’m excited about the album

  7. i said that on another blog too but i was too lazy to come up with sumthing else so fxck it
