Why do you feel that Kanye somehow owes you something? You’d paid for those early albums and you got good music in return stop acting like you did the nigga a favor. Besides he just deigns the product the price is not set by him it’s set by LV and Nike if you like it and can afford it then buy them if not then STFU.

I think before Kanye there was a different mold of a “rapper,” and not to say he owes us anything for supporting him – but also not to say buying his album didn’t do him any favors either. I don’t understand when people cop out on an artist, he’s making music he enjoys making – and people genereally love it. I’ve disliked a few tracks but generally I’m a fan of the man’s music (producing and rapping) – doesn’t mean I want his shoes necessarily. I think the whole LV movement in Hip Hop right now is type homo – not to steal Cage’s comment but he said it better than I could’ve. I don’t care what the next person wears – it’s just not for me.

Kanye West has changed the game, to an incredible amount I’d say. Your talking about the guy who put Chicago on the mainstream map. First recognized for his large effort on Jay-Zs (Classic) Blueprint. The man has dropped 3 classic (rap) albums and his complete personality became mainstream popular as far as clothes, style (conscious/fashion oriented). He has been biten hard by the game’s “biggest artist” Wayne as far as clothes, music style (singing). He’s Jay’s executive producer for BP3 and promises to give back to his fans by making his “best rap album yet” if you’ve read up. Peep these new verses and tell me Kanye aint spit that FIRE.
