  1. Holy fuck, its been a year already?

  2. i remember downloading this like wtf is asher roth?

    one year later, disappointed.

  3. guy sucks. I heard him on a few BiggyJiggy mixtapes and had to delete that chump off my iPod

  4. wish that track listing was the original one, but i already have all of those songs now

  5. wouldn’t unzip

  6. is there a drama-free version of this anywhere? i really wish i had a no-dj version of “roth boys” and “the lounge”

    PEACE!

  7. WOOOOW, a year since i downloaded this, listened to it once an was like…”Meh”, then watch the hype grow!?
I will say dude’s interviews are cool and he seem very chill and likeable…him as an artist, I just can’t get into. It could be worse tho, he could be Charles Hamilton. *crowd boos at sonic*

  8. Wow so you guys are to blame for introducing us to this ass clown…….smh

  9. To “Anon” the song “The Lounge” came out as a bonus to “Asleep in the bread aisle” its no-dj and all

  10. Celebrating garbage music is ROAF

  12. why does everybody hate on ash.. he is one of the realest in the game right now and you gotta respect it even if you dont like to listen to a white kid rap about real shit that encourages peace love and being an individual

    for anon

  14. Wow yeah man can’t believe it has been a year..
my perspective of time is changing lol
Asher is dope he still needs to do some other shyt and continue to give us the wow factor again

  15. The official soundtrack for whenever you get the urge to throw on some Abercrombie & Fitch capris, white canvas Keds and tie a sweater around your neck, just before hitting the park for an impromptu picnic with your boys. I can smell the white zinfandel, crab cakes and seasonal fruits permeating from this mixtape all over again.

  16. Would dj drama please shut up!?! NoDJ version please!

  17. such a good fckin mixtape…his album was definitely a bit of a disappointment when you compare it to this…but it was still a decent first LP.. but Greenhouse Effect > Asleep in the Bread Aisle

  18. @ raginwolfbomb
How can you even say that, he made an album about pretty much nothing

  19. @ ok
Maybe you haven’t heard the album. Have you heard the song His Dream? It’s about his father and how his father influenced him and is no longer living. Have you heard As I Em? It’s about how he struggles daily because he is constantly compared to another artist, Eminem. Have you heard La Di Da? It’s a song anyone can vibe to. It deals with anyone struggling throughout life and having to get over thing and get through tough situations. Have you heard the song Sour Patch Kids? It’s about how we’ll spend money on so many things and not give any to charity of even care about what’s going on in the world.

And there are 10 more songs on it.

Next time know what you’re talking about.

  20. As wack today as the day it was written

  21. Im surprised ya never posted perfectionist tagless and dirty. Oh well i bought the asleep in the bread aisle off of itunes just for that track.

  22. I actually remember downloading this tape one year ago. I remember that day because it was hot as fuck. Man, where has time gone?

  23. why do you guys hate on asher hes good almost great hes lyrically there and works with a lo of legends so he must be doing something right

  24. thanks for hooking up the Lounge! PEACE!

  25. can somebody up a dirty, tagless version of perfectionist?

  29. What a difference a year makes. He went from getting a lot of love and a few haters, to a lot of haters and little love. Guess that’s the reality of fans and music, but I thoroughly enjoyed this mixtape when I first heard it.

  30. Wow. I just read some of the comments when the mixtape came out a year ago. Such a really high approval rating. You can practically count the negative comments on just your hands in 80+ comments.

  31. this shit is better than his fucking album. I wanted to like the album because I like asher as a person but it doesn’t have any playback value at all.

  32. yeah….I dont get all the asher hate. I mean really, lets be subjective. I can not name more then say 5 new school cats that have garnered the hype and recognition he has from fans and fellow rappers alike. Seriously….hes gettin props and recognition from legends and fans alike. And his album, despite the negative shit storm from cats that most likely havent even listened to the album, has gotten solid reviews and is pretty dope conceptually and lyrically. Go listen to Coochie Man or Tropicana The Juice Man, or random generic southern rapper if ya dont like it. Cause we all know THATS what we should be listening to right now. Its on a whole nother level. Lyrically and conceptually.

  33. any chance for a nodj version of the tape, it’s been a year and i think only the bonus tracks have leaked tagless.

  34. fuck Asher Roth

  35. Asher is dope as fuck

  36. Ya’ll are hatin. Asher is sick.

  37. [...] Thx to 2DopeBoyz [...]

  38. Can I get a reup link? The zshare one is gone. Use a better service like megaupload or mediafire.
