The Santos chorus was better on the grainy version. No need for the funny little runs, it hit harder when he belting it out. Sounds like he’s babying it too much. Also not a huge fun of the ‘live’ effect they’ve got on his voice.

If I hear an album or tape from a rapper TOMORROW and it’s the dopest thing I’ve ever heard, I’m calling them the GOAT. Now, I mean, that’s a little extreme…but I’m saying. IF SOMEONE IS GOOD, THEY ARE GOOD. Who cares how long been out or how many tapes they dropped. Biggie only drops 2 albums. People call him the GOAT. Now, I’m not denying that he wasn’t great, but if you go by the standards of what some of y’all are saying…he only dropped TWO albums and can’t be the GOAT. Maybe he only gets that title because he died and we put him on a timeless pedestal.
Lupe Fiasco by far makes the list of prospects.

U can’t compare his catalog Nas’s…Nas has arguable 3 classics and a handful of VERY good albums. Lupe has 2 albums some say both are classic, I say one (F&L). IMO u need a catalog. Im one of those dudes who DOESNT say Biggie was the GOAT cuz he only had 2 disc, one of which was overrated IMO (L.A.D.)…But, its all opinion, I aint hating. LUpe is one of the best out and on my all time list, he will be top 10 no doubt

I’m kind of up in the air on this one, as Lupe is one of my personal favorites. The beat is great. Soundtrakk produced? I’m not really feeling Brother Jaco too much on this one though. I was kinda bored by his flow throughout. Interestingly, I think the Auto-Tuned part was the best part. I don’t know why exactly, just really enjoyed that little stanza.
I also wonder why Lupe has that accent. Funny that he gets a free pass on it, but others are criticized when they do it…
