  1. FIRST

  2. 734 stand up!

  3. You know what’s fucked up? The fact that half the people that post on these comment sections claim to be so in love with hip-hop and so down, but probably have no idea how legendary Slum Village really is. Or have no clue about J-88, Fantastic Vol.1, or even the original lineup for the group.

Thank you for posting some CLASSIC hip-hop shit.

  4. ^^ lol, I have every slum album, from the self titled album, to fantastic vol. 1 (which wasnt all that good aside from dilla’s production)…am I the only person who enjoyed new slum over old slum? I mean, as dope as black milk is, he’s no dilla, BUT Elzhi and T3 > Baatin and T3. and black killlllllled that reunion beat. Detroit Deli is a slept on album.

  5. yo slum is the tribe called quest of the d and too me they don’t get enough love n respect they’re albums have always been dope fantastic vol.1 was my shit along wit the j-88 project plus i think both versions of slum are dope r.i.p. dilla dawg

  6. where’s CB4? One of the best songs off FanTasTic 2

  7. How I ironic, I was jus listen to “Detroit Deli” reminiscing and vibing on these cats. Much props for this!

  8. My favorite track off Fantastic vol. 2 might be Tell Me feat. D’Angelo, or Forth and Back feat. Kurupt

  9. Can’t wait to listen when I get home

  10. Anyone else having trouble downloading?

  11. “See I don’t know why the fuck I’m fuckin wit you, I don’t know why the fuck I’m fucking wit you…”

  12. I know i don’t own all, but most of there albums. I thought Black Milk and Young RJ produced the “Reunion” track. I’m going to check my cd booklet when I get home. I hope it’s a nice blend.

  13. Download keeps fucking up for me. I keep getting the unexpected end of archive message. Anyone else having this problem?

  14. more sv is always dope

  15. same here, error while downloading…happen 2x

  16. The beautiful thing is, if you have all the Slum albums you already know how good a job this collection of songs is.

  17. i downloaded it, and of course SV is sick, but the DJ fucking kills the tape, screaming way too much. its almost unlistenable.

  18. people, comment on the album not how much you know about the group, especially steve_rollin.

  19. ^^^ It’s a greatest hits compilation, what’s there to comment on? If you don’t already know why SV is dope then you probably aren’t going to gather that from reading me say how such and such track isn’t on here and what not.

  20. i hope they make another album

  21. Wow, the DJ needs to SHUT THE HELL UP!! I’m only two tracks in and I don’t want to listen to anymore. Slum Village is classic, but the DJ completely ruined this mix with his yelling

  22. Wow, the DJ needs to shut the hell up!! Slum Village is classic, but the DJ ruins this mix. It’s hard to get two tracks in without wanting to punch DJ super. Less is more dude, less is more

  23. funny how people comment on this bragging about how much hip-hop knowledge they have stfu

  24. all i know is slum village is dope rather new or old, no matter who is in the group they put out really good hip hop, thanks for the tape its def a breath of fresh air

  29. elzhi’s verse on “keep holding on” will always remain one of my favorite verses.

  30. Slum Village has always been the truth..fav song 2 me is Climax..they a LOT doper than a lot of these wack MC’s out right now..

  31. Good fucking point, you think Joe Budden is nice? Well your nice is my average. I thnk its hilarious when cats dont realize people like Jeezy and Weezy and all these eezy meezys are a bunch of trend following actors
